I worked with Freya to help me conceive my son. Both my partner and I were told we would have a hard time having children. But I called upon Freya to help and 2 years after my partner and I were married we had our son. He's almost 9 now and strong willed little warrior.

Freyja was the first of the gods to reach out to me. She’s so patient, loving, and encouraging, but also fierce and powerful. I love Her. I’ve also found She loves rosé wine. ❤️🥰

What makes me laugh, is all these tough guys yelling "1 way ticket to Valhalla" when they'd really just be Frøyas discarded leftovers 😁

Shortly working with Freyja I learned to love myself even more, and become more confident in myself. I can say that big changes happened shortly after devoting myself to her, I met my wife, I changed career paths, finished school, moved to a new state, and my wife just recently gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby. I am so grateful that she has aided me on my journey this far, and I am excited to see what adventures still awaits.

Frøya sent me Eir for healing and Skadi to fight back; she also showed me where my mother went after she died. She's in my vicinity, just keeping an eye on me out of the corner of her eye, with a gentle nudge when needed.

I have just begun working with Freya somewhat recently and I experience her as a such a calming and healing energy. I made an offering to her of love poetry, wine, and apples and poured my tears out over my lost love. I sat for a moment in silence and I swear I heard a sultry, yet also kind, voice softly whisper to me “Let go.” I deeply loved this person I cried tears over, so much so I would have nightmares and panic attacks once they left. Yet once this happened I recall feeling more in my own power and able to accept that this person did not deserve my tears or devotion for multiple reasons. I no longer felt the need to check to see if they messaged or reread all the old messages. I felt comforted. I know it was Freya and I’m truly thankful.

I have always felt particularly drawn to Freyja. I have an alter in my home. To me she is loving, protective, radiant, and starkly powerful. She seems to be very thankful for devotional acts, and loving towards mankind. I love her.

Freya for me is enthusiasm incarnate, she encourages me to throw my whole self into everything that I enjoy to do but also along with Frigg let me know when I need to slow down. Both of them also give me the wisdom and the knowledge to understand that I am good enough even when I fail I did my best and that is enough. Often when I am crafting I feel both their hands on my shoulders guiding me helping me choose what items to add to my craft to make it beautiful

I'm from the Philippines and sad to say, we are still very much a christian-centric (mostly catholic) country. But, I'm now starting to delve into being an Asatru. I am particularly drawn to Baldr - the God of Light. It's actually simple working with him. I just become a "Light" for everyone around me, giving to the homeless and charity, being kind to others, exhibiting calm and positivity even in the darkest of times, being friendly, open-minded, taking good care of my body and looks (my God was also known for his beauty, after all), being wise, all these things make me feel connected to him. Be a "Light" unto other's "Dark" times, and Baldr shall be there with you. As an offering, I scatter Mistletoes all around me and meditate for atleast 30min - 1hour once every week, then burn the mistletoes so that my God can smell the sweet scent of the delicate smoke. May the all-father Odin be with you all, brothers and sisters!

It was Freya who called me to the old ways in a dream, looking as you described her, after I got home from Afghanistan during military service. I pay respect and work with Odin, Thor and Heimdall from time to time but I mostly work with Freya because I feel like she has laid claim to me since before calling me in the dream. I especially feel her when my black cat gets snuggly and lovey on me which is often.

Freyja is first in my heart. I feel I can never pay her back enough and am happy to get some new ideas for offerings. I typically leave her premium chocolates, honey, fresh baked bread (with honey). My wife who is not Norse has even approached her a few times, knowing how much I love her.

i recently went through a bad situation where I could've been overwhelmed by fear and despair. Freya kept me strong through it, making me get up every day and do what I needed to do. It was a very firm but calm energy. She pushed me to realize just how strong I can also be.

She’s not even 4 years old and she has been and continues to be outspoken (even before she could talk, she had things to say!), passionate, independent, strong-willed, etc… It was cool to hear of your experience with this deity, and I can’t wait to see more of your page. After consulting with the runes for guidance on a patron diety, or rather "is there a god/goddess that is focusing one me now", I got a solid answer. I pull four runes. Three of which were blank, one of which showed Fehu. I found it undeniable that Freya was calling to me. I've had less direct messages, and more of a "failure" in what she stands for in life, which really shows me that she's here to help me learn my next biggest lesson. Frigg was an nickname just like Freya is not an actual name... this entidy is so multifaceted, which gives us several epithets with different personality traits. So it is valid to see frigga as the maternal face of the same entity, frigga is the name given by Odin when the myth is from his point of view, and previously in Freya's pov she also "named" him a wanderer

Wow your experience is pretty different from mine! For me she's a motherly figure that's patient and taking her time with me since i suffer from depression and have a hard time getting motivated for things. Although, her letting you know you did something wrong (I messed up a tarot reading before and she let me know to start over immediately) and her telling you *exactly* what she wants are both things that are the same in my work with her.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! :) I perceive her in much the same way you do, she's definitely fierce, and a great ally to boost self-confidence. Freyja to me is very 'physical' if that makes sense? She pushes people into action, I think (so the Queen of Wands association works well! Also actions or specific attitudes to adopt as offerings, like you suggested. I love that!). I did a lot of (internal) work on self-love and acceptance over the last year with a different goddess, and then Freyja came in to help me enact those lessons in the physical world. In a very no nonsense kind of way, too. 😅 I wouldn't say I work with her just yet (I certainly honor/worship her, but I don't know how our relationship will evolve), but she has certainly been teaching me a lot of lessons in the past few months.

I’m looking into changing my name bc I have a lot of negative feelings surrounding this. I was told by my dad that he wanted to name me Freyja, but alas, my mom ended up getting her way. So I decided to look into the norse goddess, as she was the actual original inspiration for my dad’s suggestion. He is very knowledgeable within norse mythology, he says it’s simply bc he finds the history to be so intriguing. So I’ve been looking her up, just to see if I connect more to that name, and my oh my.. I can’t even count all the ways I’m connected to her, the similarities & connection I have & have had to her is so intricate it’s actually mind-blowing. Atp, I’ve genuinely realized it has to be fate to carry her name in honour of her, and I am CONVINCED that I have to be a descendant of Freyja. There is no way, as a norwegian, pagan woman with this many weirdly intricate similarities & traits like hers, that I’m not. Not only do I have a more positive connection to the name, but I now feel spiritually connected to it, and the goddess who bore it before me. Watched ur video to see how she was to work with, bc I 100% want to reach out to her, and both ask her permission to carry her name, but also to hopefully tell her that if this has been her way of reaching out, that I’ve finally now caught on, and that I want to work with her🤣 if she didn’t, I’ve still taken all of it as a sign that I should probably reach out either way. I met Freya twice during spirit journeys, once on a beach at a bonfire, she was amazingly loving and sisterly. and once when I was searching for my spirit animal she appeared as a cat and I knew immediately it was her. I have a clay cat figurine I made myself on my altar and she gets a fresh bouquet of flowers every week. I also have a large piece of amber in her area although I didn’t know it was associated with her. I also met Frigg once, she was a bit distant and cold as I would expect from a queen. she was stirring a pot of hair which she occasionally poured to the Norns who then spun the thread of life out of the hair. I found that quite interesting because people like to cut their hair when they enter new phases of life.

Another offering of service that would be good for her is volunteering for an animal rescue. She's been present throughout my life I've noticed, given how drawn I was to volunteer at animal sanctuaries, most especially cat rescues. I stopped volunteering for a while due to health reasons but when I ready again she was VERY VERY insistent about pushing me to the cat rescue where I volunteer now. I am less sure if she is the one who guided me to volunteer as a CASA to assist children in foster care or if that was someone else, but I have sought her aid in a protection spell for my friend's children when they were going through a difficult time. But mostly I've noticed she is mostly assisting me with self-love and healing, and really pushing me to throw myself into my passions and future goals. She is incredibly supportive and absolutely keeps me on my toes!

I love love LOVE, how you explain Freyja being a mother isn't that important of a part in her life, and that she is more of a maiden aspect of a triple goddess than a mother. The reason I love this so much is when women become Mothers, it is often forgotten that they are first and foremost, Women. Mothers become stamped with the idea that they are no longer allowed to be who they are and must now put everything in the bin, to be a mother, which isn't true and is something forced on Women. Mothers are told they need to look, dress, and act according to what is demanded. Forgotten as Ladies/Women, forgotten as young, mature, forgotten as brave and courageous, forced to forget that they have other desires, and goals that are still equally as important and achievable as before. The fact they have shown Freya not to have Mother as her main 'quest,' is to me, symbolic of female power, you cannot force a construct on Freyja. She's essentially gifting our attention to who she is, mother only being one sliver out of a million that come together to form a whole. Sorry, I had to say this, what you said truly awoke something! I where already doing all these things, I have jewelry on my altar, I care for plants, wild birds, a homeless cat moved in with me, I also care for many other cats in my neighborhood, I visit a cat shelter and by coffe in their shop to support them. I have lived polyamores for many years, I am working on my codependency issues and to stand up for myself, I sleep with a screwdriver under my pillow because men have stalked me. I feel I have a lot in common with Freya, I don't have children because I haven't had good enough circumstances to do so. And I prioritize my own energy and healthy above serving men and children. I also decided to learn witchcraft a while back, when I left Christianity behind me. I asked my tarot cards for a teacher and spiritual guide some weeks ago. And yesterday I got answered by Freya. Listening to this information, it's quite clear why she is the one who reached out.

I started working with Freyja after she reached out to me a few months ago, along with Hekate too. I find it interesting how they both reached out to me. Anyway, this video was a great start for me to get some good information about this wonderful goddess. I just absolutely love the energy I get from her. Do you have any other resources or books I can study to learn more about her? I think one of the main reason why Freyja specifically wanted to reach out to me was a lot to do with my Norwegian ancestory. Also, I'm leanring how to love myself and build up my own personal confidence. I want to learn more about her. I also feel that she wants me to connect with Odin at some point.

A ginger cat that wasn’t mine use to come into my apartment every time I had the window open. Sometimes the cat use to wait outside my apartment and knew when I’d arrive. For some reason I don’t see the cat anymore but I wondered if was a sign from Freyja.

Freya sent a black tom cat kitten to my house in October of 1999 to let my roommate and I know to make an offering to her. We were new to the Norse gods and wanted to do a rite but didn't know who to blot to. While we were discussing it we heard a kitten meowing and opened the front to find a tiny black kitten on our porch. We named him Halloween. Freya made herself known to us that day and we had a nice group of people over for ritual on Halloween. She has provided more than once when asked. Freya listens and is able to deliver. She is an awesome goddess and I love her.

I can’t fully remember some of the dreams Freya and I have met in, but one was about the two of us being married to rival king brothers. They would fight over the same kingdom. One rules the other builds an army to take over the kingdom. The king who was married to me gifted the kingdom to me then after the invasion it was gifted to Freya this was an ongoing repeat. Freya and I had enough so we build an army together and charged into the kingdom slaying our “husbands”. We fairly ruled the kingdom together and brought peace to it. Another dream was about a local yew tree this one is ancient and pretty famous in our village it stands in a graveyard I walk through the graveyard to greet it whenever I’m passing by. This yew tree has represented Yggdrasil in my dreams before (I know Yggdrasil is an ash tree though). I saw a gravestone nearby the tree in a dream it had a picture of Freya’s head sideways but I don’t know what she wanted? She also showed me my necklace that has a pendant of her that I keep on my altar it is attached to the Hel pendant too I plan on putting them on separate necklaces.

I've seen all the cats I've had in her hall, and she was kind enough to let me interact with them. I don't remember if any words passed between us, at least at that time. I know I was on her shit list once, though, because I refused to be taught by an alf, and that insulted him, and he is up there in the hierarchy. But I apologized and everything is calm now. She can definitely be fierce!

Another idea for offerings of service, she loves organizations that help with women's issues, so say volunteering at a shelter or protesting abortion restrictions could be good. I've donated to abortion activism in her name in the past to thank her for helping me.

If you are having trouble asserting yourself it's because you think it's inherently aggressive. It's just a negotiation. All people love confidence. If you assert yourself in a FAIR way, they'll either respect or to your surprise, might not think anything of it. They may just really not know you felt that way.

Do you have a video on Frigg? I am extremely drawn to Frigg since she embodies the women in my bloodline. However, I know many people say she arrived in Norse mythology as an influence of Christianity. To appear like the “perfect domesticated example of a woman” but that doesn’t resonate with me. I think she’s more foundational which is why she’s got such subtle energy. I would love to hear what you think? I received my reiki attunnemnt the other day. The practitioner said she called in my guides an the goddess Freya was one of them. Also, does she carry a bow an arrow ?? . I have no idea who she is. So I’m doing my due diligence to get a better underrating.

In my opinion people need to go back to owning their own spiritual path and not simply adopting religions such as abrahamic or eastern which I believe constrain peoples true nature. Simply contracting out or being spiritual by proxy of a priest or minister removes the connection with divine things and now more than ever people need to connect. Find your own path that suits you and don't be afraid to be yourself or express yourself. Keep up the good work, you are inspiring!

Besides the very compelling as well as romantic lore and origin story of Freya do you see Freya as an actual entity that you deify or is Freya an anthropomorphization of attributes, aspects, and energies as a means of manifesting your desired outcome? Fundamentally, are these two things different? I feel asking and pondering these questions can only make us better practitioners, that said in my mind's eye an actual deified entity such as Freya would expect loyalty and not take kindly to being used as a tool?
