1:50 idk to me Ruan Mei is one of the most interesting characters. she is a renaissance woman, basically Leonora da Vinci. she is a scientist, a researcher, an explorer, a musician, a chef, does embroidery, and excels at all of these things, alongside being recognized as one of the most intelligent people in the known universe. she goes around to remote barren worlds and creates life there. she sees her role as giving life to these ecosystems as a creator, not interfering with or maintaining them like a deity. obviously there are flaws, like any well written character has, but many male characters are straight up evil and we still admit when they are cool or badass

Bruh GachaSmack with the NUCLEAR misplay. Clara/Ruan Mei/Pela/Gallagher is quite possibly her worse comp. Clara hates breaking and Ruan Mei. Also is Clara on speed boots???

I wouldn't say she hates breaking but yeah Ruan Mei is super unoptimal for her, as is freeze, entangle, imprison and slow. For a hyper Clara comp I tend to prefer Tingyun and Lynx. There isn't anything perfect for the last slot but Sparkle, SW or Yukong work great, hell even Pela can work just not vs. ice weak or if played carefully. Sometimes I'll even do dual DPS with Sparkle as 90 spd Clara gets to keep the buff for a long time while 160+ Sparkle can get a chance to buff the other DPS too with very little downtime.

The ruan mei 10 energy enables jingliu to ult right after 1st ehn skill. Usually u miss on 5 energy after jingliu 1st ehn skill.

the 2 best in the HSR content game rn, you can TELL based on how they're actually giving nuanced back and forth and actually both charismatic in how they yap. collab for other stuff like monthly Prydwen updates; this worked well.

i actually built up sampo pretty well with kafka before blackswan came out and it was pretty nuts, i use all 3 of them with a sustain. clears everything in moc and pure fiction. definitely don't shy a way from investing in some other 4 stars.

I've played slow ruan mei and fast ruan mei. Personally i prefer slow ruan mei(i built my slow ruan mei with ER rope). With ER rope slow ruan mei my ruan mei has longer ulti duration and it also means she will get hit more before her turn which often times leads to 100% ulti uptime. With fast ruan mei this is impossible but with fast ruan mei it means u generate SP much faster. So playing slow ruan mei+DHIL is a struggle.

its a situational thing, if your downtim aligns with the peak of your dps uptime, they can be interchangeable. But yeah the only core difference is do you need the plus one sp

Ur delusional. Slow Ruanmei is inconsistent af when it comes to energy. Relying on enemies to hit you is so rng based. Fast Ruanmei have no energy problem for 3T ult with S5 MOTP or Coggers. - If you want 0 cycle then go for Slow Ruan Mei then

@@AnhKhoa-zf4cm wdym i am delusional? Idk wether u have tested slow ruan mei with ER rope yet or not. If put Slow ruan mei with ER rope+S5 MOTP or coggers+voncwack(most slow ruan mei should use voncwack tho) that ruan mei will also have no energy problem 3T ulti. Just that with slow ruan mei ur ulti last longer and have higher chance of having ulti 100% uptime than fast ruan mei. Tho the downtime is also slightly longer but u don't really feel much difference in the downtime if u played fast ruan mei before since fast ruan mei there will always be downtime and I've never once have ulti 100% uptime on fast ruan mei tho. But with slow ruan mei i've experienced it at least 7-8 times. It's still RNG but it's still better having it than being impossible.

I will say, while Standard Banner characters are 100% powercrept, they are still solid picks. Like Bronya is just a solid support with good utility that can make a DPS blow up the field. Gepard, still a pretty good sustain and I'd say he can cover for you if you only have 1 other premium sustain unit. Welt, extremely versatile as a debuffer, pseudo sustain, and a sub dps (or hypeecarry dps of you juice him up enough.) The Standard Banner is a great banner for solid units (and their light cones)

Clara is also pretty good for phys weakness since the only other ok phys DPS is Argenti and he's terrible on less than 3 targets scenarios

Welt enjoyer here. Welt sustain is possible, but you need ruan mei too.if you have a high ehr high speed welt, you can survive 8 cycles, and you can use any team comp except dot, like boothill + HMC, or acheron pela (or any nihility character)

Nah aventurine is a game changing sustain, I disagree respectfully, especially cause i run him with bronya + ruan mei and they FURTHER buff his damage, hes very very very nice to have and use, doing 40k-50k compared to fuxuan + huohuo doing like 1k damage. His damage is mid but its not supposed to be busted considering hes only meant to sustain + do damage sometimes. Gacha Smack is right though about huohuo and fuxuan being better than him by a pretty good margin though, but damn gepard is dead n found in a ditch. Also Aventurines mid dps is life saving especially cause I run him with acheron and don't have to waste an ult to kill off one enemy cause I can just ult with aventurine + follow up to kill. #ThatsJustMeTho

Personally I find Gepard's innate taunt with Trend and guaranteed freeze on skill (mine is E1) to be chef's kiss amazing for Acheron teams. He's my most used sustain atm for that, plus teamwide shields is a good thing to have in the current meta now that Hoyo has been trying to sell Aventurine. I find 2.6k shield every 2-3 turns to be more than enough to keep everyone topped up. His personal damage is an absolute joke though, no getting around that.

I don't think smack read Clara's kit, those "Extra RNG Rocket hits" Are the Marks of counter going off, Clara, despite what the animation looks like, is guaranteed to hit every enemy on field once, like herta's skill, and an additional damage proc happens if the enemy has mark of counter.

*40K damage? Yeah, on Advens follow up, his ult does 80K with a full dps, E0S0 using the 4 star damage per defense and Pioneer set. Team is Acheron, Pela, Ruan Mei. His Bronya, Ruan, Pela hypercarry does 110K on ult and 60K follow ups. Which is funny cuz his ult does the same damage as my Blades follow up on Gachas gull HP build plus full Crt sub stats.*

Bro said ruan mei/ pela/ Gallagher would be an good team like yeah they can separately be good for her, but in this team against ice weak enemies you freeze them and got the ruan mei extra slow down effect for a Counter Dps on top of having SPEED build Clara. Not being able to run tingyun is a bummer tho, makes her lower in aggro and more in needing to be hit. Now do I think clara is perfect for that moc stage definitely not, not having a more optimal team or topaz is making that moc stage against that fat ipc robot a problem this guy never attacks and aventurine is fine but need more dmg for single target here.

I think his problem with his Clara was the supports. My Clara does like 280k on an enhanced counter with cleave, and still does like... 180k or something single target? I dunno, she hits freaking hard, and murdered Aventurine as fast as my giga stacked E2S1 Jing Liu, no joke.

Why do people call it sustain Welt? It's not like he has any way to heal or anything right? So he's more like utility/support/de-buffer. Just a pet peeve of mine I guess.

It's because in the ideal scenario he's imprisoning every enemy on the field. Sustain is either healing or damage mitigation - hard CC like imprisonment is viewed as damage mitigation in these teams

Black swan is actually made to be kafka and swan perfect partner at e6 swan males entire team debuff with every attack

I guess that Kafka/BS assessment is fair. Unlike BS, Kafka is useless outside of DoT (with the exception of niche examples like her PF ult-spam), but at the same time even years from now Kafka will likely still be relevant to every serious DoT comp, while people will have forgotten about the likes of BS in those comps. Each time a new broken DoT character releases, that automatically makes Kafka more broken too, since she more or less "gains 75% of the new units damage". The only way Kafka will ever lose relevance is if they ever release a "Hyper Kafka" that does the same thing she does even better. And if they do that, they are essentially destroying the entire games balance and making DoT the best comp for every scenario, so it won't happen.

While prydwen isn’t taking this into account a 5 star pela is set to release in 2.4 easily taking her spot as a debuffer. Ofc it remains to be seen how well the two synergize (if they have like 80% defense shred then BS becomes the best second debuffer for example). But it’s not hard to imagine that black swan becomes further deep stuck into DoT, and therefore, below kafka in terms of priority.

In terms of pull value BS isn’t comparable to Kafka… Kafka is essentially the harmony unit that makes DoT, like HTB makes super break… it’s not comparable, no one recommends DPS characters as higher value than support especially if that support is pretty much never going to be powercrept…
