Pretty good instructions. Just one tip for people learning it the first time though, is to start with not going over the coping, and just lift your front wheels a little bit before you start rolling backwards. That will get you used to the motion of lifting over the coping without the risk of actually hanging up.

Hey Dale, I’m interested in seeing how to properly do a ride-on grind with different kinds of lock-ins (toe/heel/cross).

a sort of zoomed in slow-mo can be really helpful just in general for tutorials, and you can like pause it point at something youre tying to explain. keep the tutorials coming though, love them

good video for the most part. constructive criticism is that you forgot to discuss shoulders and keeping them square

@@dutchmcfadyen5867 I’ve got the Peter Hewitt pigeon vision Grimple. It’s an 8.38. I’m riding 149 Indy’s on it too. I thought they would be a bit too wide but they are perfect. But the wheel base is a little bit big for my liking. I think it’s 14.25 or 14.5 inches. I like a 14 or shorter even. I’m short. 5-5. Short legs. But it’s fun on the pump tracks, mini or vert ramps, and curbs.
@dutchmcfadyen58675 ай бұрын
@@D.FRESH1 see I would want it even bigger 😅 I'd skate those specs just for fun, farting around. But when it comes to the more serious stuff, bowls, vert ramps, etc I gotta have at least 14.5 & 8.5 preferably 15 & 9 lol lol.

What is the real tip? I found nobodys says it. Dont be scared! Lead with the shoulder first. Thats what i found out after slamming alot. Also controling the board by being wide and a little weight on your toes more than heels, seems to give me more control. Lets do another video. Alot of people are having problems with this one.👍

0:20 Does Dale realize he's using the wrong end of the ramp to rock on? 0:32 Great, Keen Ramps will soon need to buy carbon offsets.
