You have any tips for how long the flat bottom of a mini ramp should be? Is there some proportion of height to length ratio you do?

Idk if its the bluetooth mic or wireless mic being clipped to his hat, but his voice def sounds like its being fed from a different mic. compared to older videos or even the last one. like the last one sounds like the camera mic where this one does sound like the mic clipped to the hat is the main vocal. either way im watchin it and enjoying it XD

Love how these guys teach you how to build ramps and offer to sell you their pro stuff at a reasonable price if you aren’t an amateur carpenter. You can feel the love for skateboarding in every video.

Love these ramp build videos My first carpentry gig was building ramps about 35 years ago. Alot of great info you present here. The hammer claw push/pull trick is priceless, works with nails also, and can be used to align lots of stuff, including much bigger structures, and great for untweeking bowed lumber 🔥

I built my first one out of a 10 ft round trampoline frame lol. 8 poles to mace up the circle and apart the transition looked pretty good. So 4 curved poles each end for the skeleton then I just dyna bolted square tube to the garage floor to join bottoms of poles. Screwed the 10 ft slats 6 inches apart to screw ply wood to haha🤷 it worked but afterwards I looked into how to actually build one and laughed my ass off. 5000 screws ended up going into it lol

The magic Stick ideas such a great idea. do you guys know if I were to cut skatelite at the bottom of a ramp at a 45° angle to replace a steel plate would work? I'd like to reduce the noise pollution for my neighbors

🤯 The fact that “the skateboarding community” is SO FRIENDLY, they post REAL TIPS VIDS of ramp building from PROS; and as a builder of thing much larger, these simple things are so important for a better build back by ‘science’ LITERALLY! 😏 ….and it technically makes it easier to do. “Prep Better, Werk Less” or “Work smart, Not hard”. 🍅, 🍅, 🤷♂️ Which in turn leaves more time for 🛹, even for the DIY guys out in the middle of nowhere.!! 👊
