I think this is the best video I have seen about GPU's, the level of detail when explaining the hardware is amazing! i got an RX 6600 for home but I think I will get this one for my office, currently at $300 average today 5 May 2022.

I got insanely lucky, I snagged one for $120 usd. Insane card, it obliterates my previous GTX 970.

I have this card and it still does the job .. had it since release and played on it hard ever since. Re paste last week for the first time and still playing strong 💪

I’ve been running two titan xp cards. I bought the first one when it launched and then bought the second one a year later. I’ve found them to be great for cuda workloads. No crypto mining here, mostly heavy 3d rendering with Iray

I think people forget about the Titan X Pascal, a little anyway. I see 1080Ti's selling for more (used, obviously) than it does sometimes. The 3060 has very similar appeal though, high VRAM and of course more efficient with similar performance. I hope Titan X Pascal prices continue to be attractive though, they're a definite option if you don't care about RT.

wow we have incredibly similar setups, I'm running the 2017 Titan Xp (3,840 cuda core version) with a 11700k but with 32gbs 3600. and ive got a crucial p2 aswell all running on an msi tomahawk.

just got one used for $150 locally. paired with 11700k. 1440p g sync at 100 fps+ on ultra settings. definitely recommend the g12 mod. 👍

Great video. For GTA V, you simply hit engine limit that Gamers Nexus found. It doesn't appear at 4k, that's why minimum FPS is so bad on lower resolutions. You should mention that when running on air cooling (reference), card should be undervolted to get best FPS stability vs. performance in longer duration gameplay. I own Titan Xp (full version), with stock cooler, and it runs great at ~750mV @ ~1630MHz (total board power in GPU-z = ~180W).

I cant find the site again but right after i got my Titan Pascal about 6 months or so ago i did a lot of online spec comparing and this particular site mentioned extra features like better lighting and shodow engines as well as other improved features compared to all the other Pascal 10 series gpus. These things OC very well. I can easily do over 2ghz manually and its auto boost hovers around 1850mghz far higher than the stated boost of 1533 or so as well as well over a gigahert on the ram and thats without the we heatsinks you have on although i have a few of those exact ones laying around. Maybe i'll slapem on some time along with the 420 aio i've been thinking about finding a gpu fitting to try on it and maybe put the Noctua d15 back on the cpu.

I just got one of these for free in 2024! :O My friend was telling me that there was an old workstation card at his work which needed to be retired, and told me that it was a "Titan". I asked him what they were going to do with it and it was apparently going to get given away or possibly even go to a RECYCLING CENTRE O_O I told him I'd be happy to take it. To my surprise, it was not an original Titan, but clearly said "Titan X" on the cooler shroud, so I looked that up, only to realize that it's actually a Titan X Pascal, AKA Titan XP, TWO generations newer than what I thought it was!

Bought an HP z640 for £300 GBP, it had two of these Titan X Pascals in it, IN SLI, fucking luckiest buy I have had, The PC and cards were not even used, was extremely clean not even a single dust bunny in the fan shroud and the fan, not even the heatsinks

I still use the OG TITAN X PASCAL today in 2024 and am very satisfied! Back then I installed an Arctic Accelerator IV XTreme to get the temperature down and that worked, the card is maybe 43-63 degrees today. I play everything including Last of US part 1 on everything I tested on ULTRA. YES! You can tell that the GPU is getting old, but thanks to the 12 GB of VRAM, this graphics card can still manage that even after 7 years. I notice a few stutters here and there, especially when you load into a new area in Last of Us, but that also subsides. I play Last of US Part 1 at an average of 50-63 FPS FullHD i don't want 2 or 4k. and I'm more than satisfied.

I'll wait until the technology becomes more affordable. If an rtx 3090 goes on sale for 400, I'll get it but for now, this card is too amazing to pass up. Lol

I just picked up a Titan Xp (Later full 3840 core model) for $250 and slapped it on a free CPU/Mobo/RAM combo I got from a friend that'll do what I need it to do (i7-6700k, Gigabyte Z170N WiFi, 32GB Vengeance Pro). I'm stuffing it in a Louqe Raw S1 with a Noctua NF-L12 Ghost S1 Edition with an additional NF-A12X15 slapped on top. For less than $500 all-in I'm sitting on a solid upgrade compared to my 2017 Razer Blade 14 that bit the dust a few months ago. I ran an FX-6300 with a 1060 3GB for years before that so I'm definitely not going to complain with the current setup. We have a Ryzen 5 3600 laying around I want to pick up a mobo for so I won't be CPU bottlenecked but as far as I'm concerned I did good for the price.

I picked one of these up last night with a 2700x for 250 Canadian for a super wallet friendly upgrade - which is great considering the next cheapest upgrade would have been a 5700xt and the same price with no free cpu XD

Most 4K movies are only 60fps anyways. DVD's have a 29.97 frames per second frame speed. I've locked fortnite a 40fps and a res of 1440x900 and won matches before against people running at like 200fps cause I'm leaving a ton of headroom on the hardware for latency instead of tapping it out for frames.

12:10 GTA V has a known engine bug. As soon as it reaches frametimes equivalent to about 187-188fps, it stalls and spins for just north of 100ms and doesn't output new frames during this time. This is why in 4k, it looks so consistent (the game runs as intended) and since frame to frame difference in workload is so small, it's a tight grouping. But at lower resolutions you run into this bug, thus you have occasional slow frames tarnishing your low framerate reading. This issue has been known since 2017 and has never been fixed. So this game is not really suitable for benchmarking.

Right now i see the Titan XP (full 3840 cores) for less than the 3060 even. I don't care about RTX yet so i think i'm going to grab one. Paired with 12600K should be a beast for 1080UW for quite awhile i think.

On Japanese auction sites, used TITAN X's are selling for an average of $160. 3D MARK scores indicate that the NVIDIA TITAN X scores better than the RTX 2070 Super and GTX 1080 Ti. RTX 2080 and TITAN X score about the same on 3D MARK, but since the TITAN X is an older GPU, I am concerned that for some reason it will perform significantly worse than the RTX2080 when playing the latest games. Does the minimum FPS go below 144FPS playing APEX LEGENDS at the lowest settings? Sorry for my poor English.

this video aged like milk unfortunately , because of the lack of dx12_2 ( ulitmate) this gpu can't benefit from tech such as ( mesh shading) and (sampler feedback streaming) ☹ other than that this is an amazing gpu , a dream gpu

consumer GPUS are getting more and more power inefficient instead of becoming more efficient while also getting higher performance compare to Predecessor, though i'm no engineer, some sacrifices deemed necessary, you know it, i'm mentioning rtx 4090/4080 which are going to be 600W-450W

I was lucky enough to get two Titan Xp cards for $500 brand new right before the Crypto boom. I was able to sell one for $900 dollars a few weeks later.

The Titan X p is pretty much the combination of every moder gtx card released just some what perfected because no card before the Titan X p matches to the Titan Xp it's the refine ment of all GeForce cards know to man perfect in a fully unlocked pascal gtx Titan no cards not even 1080 to match to this card this was the final build to every single build the Titan proved that you didnt need more than one graphics card to get optimal performance you can just buy one strong card and spend lesser watts but in sli all attributes of the graphics card are utilized only expect for memory doesn't double but in sli all cuda cores pixel fill rate and bandwidth instruction set will double in sli both TMUS ROPS double with sli so pretty much the Titan Xp is every card perfect to one PCb that can literally easily out perform anything they make

This card if you ignore ray tracing, which is shit on console anyway, is about on par with a ps5.

TITAN Xp is slight better then your Titan X Pascal. Xp is the fully unlocked Pascal chip.

Gta5 maxes out at 188fps and then starts to make the game stutter.
