I’ve seen people say this but it’s really true. This show makes you feel like a part of it. When she’s telling her story i felt like I was there listening and helping. I was captivated just as they were. That’s masterful writing and production right there. The fact that the writing alone can make so many people feel like a part is amazing

Whenever I am sick, anxious, or something is wrong in my life, I watch The OA. It’s strange how each time I watch it, I feel better. Like even if I’m getting physically sick, I just feel magically better. This series is truly amazing.

I still can't believe how netflix could not understand the power and the beauty of this show...honestly, it's just sad.

The greatest show that EVER existed! I wasn’t ready for it! Nobody was! When I saw the final dance scene in the school, I gasped, covered my mouth and cried instantly! No scene has ever affected me more than that did! The OA took my heart!

To this day, I am deeply disturbed that the creators of the OA were unable to finish their story. It is and will always be the most impactful show I have watched in my time on earth.

I was chillin' with friends and we were searching for something to watch on netflix so we randomly picked this show. Our expectations were low but we ended up binging the entire season since we were so hooked we simply couldn't stop watching.

Bro I watched this show when it first came to Netflix and absolutely wanted everything to do with it. I watched the second season right when it came too and I cried. This show was so beautiful and so many ways. The art, the shots, the meaning, the actors/actresses. Everything had me on the edge of my seat. There will never be another show like it. And I hate the standard bullshit we get now. This show had talent all over it. I love The OA more than any other show!!!

I look back through the other comments and feel thankful I’m not alone. I agree that it tops my Netflix list. I’m watching again now. I return to it every month or so. It helps me when I’m deeply troubled or confused. I have COVID at the moment - this series always calms me. Number 2 on Netflix for me? It’s just moved to Prime is ‘Arrival.’ When I can’t sleep I come to my lounge room. Lie on my futon, begin the film and drift off to sleep.

Whoever created this series must be extra sensory with a high awareness of how the reality works. It’s not only learnt through NDE but also OBE or so called astral projections. Our consciousness is infinite and always expanding through various lifes and parallel realities. I myself have experienced this profanity in my out of body experiences and they are extremely hard to comprehend with the limited physical mind but once you’re “out” there, you KNOW. The first season of this series is so profound. I only wish that continued into the second season.

Loved season 1, and am now on the second (episode 4). Something quite profound about the show. Like, there are shows that I love, and then there are shows - like this - that speak to me on a deeper level (which invoke thoughts and feelings I experience a lot). I'm not looking forward to it ending, but I'm beyond grateful that I got to witness it.

I am incredibly disappointed that Netflix didn't extend this to five seasons. It was obvious in season 2 that there were multiple threads and plot lines that needed development. Awesome mind-bending concepts were kludged together. This was a masterpiece that was tossed aside for some irrational corporate for profit response. This is why capitalism kills art.

i will never fucking forget about this show and how netflix ruined the characters’ story by cancelling it. they claim it’s about views, but how come they didn’t try hard enough to promote it, huh? i’ve lost count of how many times i’ve cried because i knew that we would never get to see a proper ending.

I am just happy to know that i am not alone feeling drifted in this world. This show felt like home. I felt like i was somehow related to everything.
