If "him" would fit in the sentence, then you would use whomever. If "he" fits better, you would use whoever. Look for the "M."

@@lazycritic5321this is how I keep track of it as a second language speaker. It's a really good trick. If I can use "us" it means I can use "me". If I can use "we" I can use "I". If I can use "him" I can use "whom".
