I shot a banded bird in the late 90s and it was 24 yrs old!!! That’s when they sent card info in the mail. Also that year I shot a bird with 2 leg bands and one said $100 reward. I got a check to!

The hunting here in Utah has been tough. There were early lockups this year and it’s been tough finding spots where other hunters aren’t

That's cool with the Banded Mallard. I killed a Drake Mallard in 2001 that was 8 years old and also from Alberta Canada.

Been the best 3 days of ducks in my 15 yrs of learning how to hunt properly. My first times ever to limit out on my public lake here in Ellis county TX. Tons of teal, got my first can (hen) today. Only seen a few mallards. Which I'm still doing something wrong. They really don't like my spread or hide.

I shot a banded mallard drake in 2016 that was banded in 2003 or before. The band was nearly worn in two.

That cold Thursday (5f and 25 mph winds) - 1st time I've taken a dunk in a duck pond (almost to my face; filled the chest waders, gun submerged yada yada) in almost 30 years, but we shot some ducks! Short ride to the barn and the dryer made me whole, along with a few frosties of course! Loved the video; It Can't be gangbusters everytime! Years of hunting will show you and prove that. The trick is to concentrate your memories on the good days!

One reason you have to keep draining the Argo is your seals around your excels are leaking causing water to get in your tubs

Get a good amount of honker decoys that’ll last you a long time and for snows I would suggest getting something cheap but durable, you need a lot of snows for it to be effective..

I killed a 10 plus year old drake mallard banded in Kentucky killed in wisconsin it could fly when it was band so could be possible it’s a 12 year old bird and the same day killed my first drake black duck Been two years and still waiting for my duck mounts
