Far scarier and more realistic than the 2006 version. The kid actor is much creepier, the music infinitely more terrifying, the direction much snappier, the cinematography more lush, and the acting considerably more passionate and believable.

My favorite in the franchise is the 1978 sequel. Terrific, drawn out death scenes and some campy, bitchy dialogue featuring the female characters.

There must be better ways for Nannies to get their P45... Baboons can go apeshit I suppose but hardly Great Ape... Fine acting Mr. Troughton but not my idea of curing a bad back...Who the hell - oops - has that gardening contract..? Who the hell - oops - has that maintenence contract..? The only problem is that he was told not to smile...

The 2006 remake was directed by the same guy behind other movies like the 5 die hard movie and the max payne movie both aweful by the way

The original Omen is a full on horror movie and not for the faint of heart..Sadly the sequels were Dooo---Dooo, ignore them unless you are masochist .......................................................
