Comment what is your favorite specialist building even if you don’t use it! And what is the one you use the most?

the bloon chipper one is used to replace a famer, so just place a chipper in the corner next to where your farms would normally be, and you basically get a free famrer every game

Btd5 might not ever be updated ever again, but I will always love the specialty buildings

I didn't know about the foam doing damage with the engie workshop, because of it it is now my favorite specialist building

I agree with the list, besides engineer. The engineer is the #1 building because of its early game. It's been a very long time since I've played, but back when I did a simple 2-0 engineer could solo into the mid 20's with the specialty building, which doesn't sound very OP, but the amount of time it allows you to farm is INSANE. If you could pull that off, you would be financially set for the rest of the game, basically making the engineer an automatic win on most maps. It was nuts. I don't know if they nerfed it since then, but it was well worth the price.

My favorite is engineer 100%, S tier in my opinion. It reduces the engineer's costs, gives them super turrets (one of the most efficient forms of popping tower in the game, with lead popping power and a similar cost to triple darts, as well as soloing until the late 20's), and has a secret effect where cleansing foam gains the ability to pop bloons, it's super overpowered. I've beaten advanced maps on impoppable using only bloon trap engineers because of this insane specialty building! The price reduction also helps with overclock for anyone willing to micro that

I must say, my vote has changed throughout my time playing BTD5. Used to be bloonchipper, now its the Heli pilot. I've got a system down where I can get an apache by the mid 20s essentially and it alone could get me to the 60 rounds no issues involved. Being able to farm/ utilize villages for 40+ rounds is insanity. The apache is a raging BONER in BTD5🤘

Dart monkey and engineer special buildings are the best for actual game strategy / impoppable / mastery. Mortar special building is the best overall for fun, and the one that makes the largest difference, making mortar overpowered

You should consider (not much) the fact that monkey aces (the hit box) flip to the other side when you get it

1/0 Engineer with its upgrade after maxing its specialist building gives me like ~20 rounds to set up Monkey Farms so it's an S for me. But I didn't realize that its foam does damage after upgrade as I would usually put it at 2/3 eventually after setting up few other towers including Monkey Village.

My personal fav is the super monkey, I'm probably not gonna use the ability for it's fourth building upgrade since I don't usually get the temple and it's kinda hard to get a temple with max value sacrifices in btd5 since most of the towers kinda feel shit

Evaluating the monkey money value for the bloonchippers building is weird because unlike other buildings it essentially depends on how many potential farmers get replaced with bloonchippers over the course of the rest of the game for you. If you're not someone to use farmers very often for whatever reason then it might be worthless or if you constantly use farmers then this building could technically offer infinite value in terms of monkey money saved. For most players though I'd say it's in the middle where it more than pays for itself but isn't an absolute must.

i got the spike factory building cuz 50% damge buff sounds great until i realize it's not that good even with spike storm spam

Bloonchipper specialist building is good when you don't want to spend money on monkey farmer to collect those annoying banana. The specialist probably good at mid/late game i think

i like how they replaced it with monkey knowledge in btd6, but it gives less strategy and makes it annoying for early game

For the 4th upgrade of engineer i would not recommend upgrading because it only gives you three in stead of 5. Ignore the 4th and only focus the 3rd
