My sister is an incredible artist but thankfully she doesn’t act like this, she is actually quite humble.

I remember in year 4 this girl stole her older sister’s markers and brought them to school and said they were for professional artists. She also said that her sister brought them from Scotland and would be pissed if they went missing. A few weeks later I saw the same ones at the local Poundland. 😂

Okay but in my school we did actually have the good artists who scrimped and bought their own art supplies lmao. Polychromos were a status symbol but you would literally be saving money from your part time job and your birthday for it lol

In art I was a nuisance because I would always draw a Rafiki version of Simba somewhere into my stuff and usually get marked down for it. I don't care I am very pleased that I can draw it in under like 7 seconds and it I don't know it pleases me to use me deal with it

I had to bring my own supplies to every gcse lesson

Surprisingly my GCSE art group is really chill, like minus the back corner lot who everyone hates, we pretty much all get along

And you know they're not too far from the stick man they were criticizing. Seriously people who brag about being good artists usually aren't that good speaking from experience. I never bragged (because I'm socially awkward) and anytime I was asked about it I'd say stuff like: "Thank you. It took me a while to make but it's not the best" I had a classmate in highschool who was really good at art. He used to draw weapons alone in a corner. But he was really good at it. He later explained his uncle owns an gun shop here in Italy and because of this he grew up among weapons. And that's why he liked drawing them. I instead usually draw people. Details like lips and eyes or portraits or faces in different positions sometimes cut off. I once drew a face from the tip of the nose down or a somewhat profile with only the nose lips and neck. Or a poor attempt at an asian eye with glasses. Also I recently had a girl look over my sketchbook during lesson in uni and tell me I draw really well and I stood there embarassed and said: "I like to draw stuff like this." referring to the people I drew. I had a professor once give glances at my drawing interested. I mean it's the whole point why I even chose design. Because I love art and because it's relaxing.

I can relate to this sketch about no sharing , as they always got lost but not the snobbery although i was one of the better drawers in my class , but using Berol pens or Staedleter or Derwent pencils as they was the best better than the cheap stuff in the sket6ch .

Yes there is always a girl like this! There is one RIGHT next to me and she is so annoying like she's so overly humble expecting people to say her art is good and I just tell her that her art is okay because I'm not having it. I'm in year 9 and unfortunately for my options if I pick art I can't take spanish but I love both subjects, though I love art more but my spanish teacher told my mum she wants me to take spanish for GCSE in parents evening. Maybe things will miraculously get switched up or I'll manage to do both but does anybody have any advice for if that miracle does not come to life?
