I work from home so I don't need to do this daily. But when I worked in the office and I planned my outfits the night before my mornings were smoother and I walked into the office with confidence because I knew what I was rocking. Also, planning outfits ahead can be detrimental if there was a change in the body. The last thing you need is to have to rush out the house to go to work, you put on your pants and realize at the last minute that they no longer fit. Ain't NOBODY got time for dat!! I make SURE to do this for CHURCH!

ALSO, auditing can save so much money. How many times do we forget we had that piece of clothing in our closet or we misplaced it and went and bought more clothes.

Great video! I just started to purge although it's going to take time because I have so much. But if I spend an hour or 2 each week it will be done. It's so overwhelming

I've lost a lot of weight with intermittent fasting, so I did a serious audit of clothing. I plan my outfit the night before and after I get into work and set everything else down, I go take a picture of my outfit in the full length mirror in the bathroom. I have found that looking back at some of these pictures I can see if I looked frumpy, should have chosen different shoes, or need to get something tailored.

Okay, straight truth. Your videos have changed my life. Lost my mom a few years ago and lost myself with her. Add a few years in a pandemic and I looked in the mirror and didn’t recognize myself. I studied every one of your videos. I took notes. I purged my wardrobe and made thoughtful purchases. I photograph my favorite outfits in varying configurations. And I’m finally walking out of the house and feeling like the woman I lost. Doesn’t matter if I’m just going to the grocery store! I feel beautiful again. Thank you!

This video was timely for me! Honestly I struggle during spring/summer outfits and thrive in fall/winter because I'm able to cover my weight better. But I'm trying to break that insecurity of mine and do more high waisted pants and crop tops style with cute jackets. But that fit gets boring quick. I want to make statements and have cute glam outfits for any occasion. I'm trying to make 2022 my fashionable year too! Love the vid and I took notes!

Aint nothing wrong with that, I would stay its so much easier to get dressed when you have the foundational pieces down then you can add that added flare with accents, jackets jewelry shoes etc

I LOVE that you remind us that style is not an age. I saw a comment somewhere made by a woman probably about my age and we had a similar life experience as "the fat kid". My Mom did her best, I entered high school with clothes from Lany Bryant, 1974. There were no cute clothes for us. Now, we get to be stylish and not limited to dull, unstructured, plain items from the "Chubby" section of the local department store. We are no longer restricted by size, and thanks in part to your support, we are no longer restricted by AGE! Thank you!

I love these tips!! My concern with being more stylish was that I would have to a a zillion pieces and this video debunked that myth. The one tip that I know I will do is creating the outfit pic album on my phone. That tip is perfect for me!

So glad I stopped to watch this video! I was so curious about the habit, but girl, you dropped a lot of wisdom filled advice! I have even more respect for you. You are reminding women to shop mindfully, and not aimlessly while trying to look like everyone else. As for me, this video was also confirming in that I would make my like a lot easier if I took time to pre-plan and catalogue outfits. I'm definitely going to start. I will also do more necessary shedding of my overstuffed closets. Great video!

What a terrific idea about taking pictures of the outfits you've put together and that you love! I'm going to try that!!!! Also, love the idea that our self worth is not tied up with how much money we spend. Chichi, you are a perfect example. You sometimes buy clothes from Wal-Mart but look like a million bucks! I know I need to purge some items from my closet, but like you mentioned it's not easy when your holding on to them for the WRONG reasons. Mines is I'm going to drop those 15 pounds, to get in those jeans 😣....but when🤔. My goal is to let go to bring out my fashionable self. Thanks for the good advice. I definitely need to inventory my wardrobe. I just be buying stuff lol & don’t go anywhere. I work from home & my social life is basically nonexistent. I need to build up my staples pieces & declutter this rest. Definitely still holding on to those “when I drop this weight” clothes 🤦🏾‍♀️

I do an inventory check in spring and fall. I am guilty of keeping a vintage dress that I cannot wear, and I don’t know if I ever will be able to wear. I keep it in the closet in my office, where I keep my off-season clothes.

Hey boo I dont have any videos on this year, but my rule of thumb for when I want to make something look smaller is to play with proportions I love achieving this with tops that have oversized or exaggerated puff sleeves. I also stay away from anything tight or short like cap sleeves.
