There's a story behind this "joke", the two of them made a bet to see if Tasteless could sneak in the word "Viagra" during the casting, and this is the result.

Got recommended this. Showed it to my wife, she asked how the joke was tasteless. Here's to 10 more years boys.

"The guy laughing" is the man of a thousand laughters. Tasteless (the guy talking) is on a quest to unlock them all. This particular one is, I imagine, a really hard one to achieve.

This was explained by the casters afterwards. What they do to keep entertained is try to slip words of phrases into their casts. In this case Artosis must have made Tasteless slip in the word "viagra" or the phrase "that guy must take Viagra." When tasteless did so artosis wasn't able to control his laughter.

Been a fan since I first discovered his amazing casts of star invitational and the averatics on old GOM.

The best explanation of this that I have heard is that casters have little games to include certain words chosen by the other, so I think the word was Viagra for this game and Artosis wasn't expecting it at all.

@shadowtygo personally, I don't know how there could be anything but love, peace, and the sound of children laughing on anything that tastosis touches!

Artosis laugh was hilarious. I mean the joke itself was funny, but his voice cracked and he absolutely flipped out just made everything funnier.

Boats in bottles. You have to raise the masts inside the bottles, and that picture might have been what made artosis laugh. Also, if he wasn't impotent he probably wouldn't spend so much time making boats in bottles.

Artosis sounds like that sarcastic guy on Family Guy who's like "OHHH HOOO HOOO It's funny because it's NOT nice outside!" after Peter comes inside with the wet umbrella and says "nice weather we're having."

Some laughs you dont know if its a fake laugh or a real laugh, this is one of those examples

@drkmercenary Actually there was a Viagra commercial in which the older gentleman was building a boat. I think that would be around the appropriate time in which he was in highschool, depending on how older he is than his brother.

@EARPproductions Im pretty sure there was a Viagra commercial years back where an old dude was building those bottled boats while he was narrating. Guess it's either an inside joke about that commercial or Artosis was just ready to lose it over anything...

@PatrickSmithPhD I don't think anyone understands that he has a niche following and doesn't really appeal to the mainstream. He basically just fits this role of super pumped nerd that loves to hear his own voice and ideas.

the reason it's funny is that during the breaks sometimes casters like to give each other a word that they have to work into the normal flow after commercial. this is to break up the monotony of standard analogies and 2 dimensional word-craft. apparently the "IT" word was "Viagra". this is why tasteless says "you weren't ready for that one were you?" @ 0:20

@brigbjones i'm not sure i completely understand what you are saying, but i once saw a couple matches of the NASL season 1 where incontrol would say something then be done talking and at gretorp's turn he'd start 90% of his sentences with "indeed,". it felt very out of place and almost like a bet they made to see if gretorp would crack up during the recording. is this similar at all to what you're talking about ?
