Next up for Top Rank Boxing, Southern California 140-pound standout Arnold Barboza Jr. wanted the main event spotlight. He’ll get his opportunity to shine when he takes on Puerto Rican contender Danielito “El Zorro” Zorrilla in a 10-round junior welterweight showdown Friday, July 15, at the Pechanga Summit at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California.
Tokyo 2020 U.S. Olympic silver medalists Keyshawn Davis and Richard Torrez Jr. will return on the card, with Davis battling Jair “Kaiser” Valtierra in the eight-round lightweight co-feature. Torrez will open the televised broadcast in a six-round heavyweight special attraction versus Roberto Zavala Jr.
Barboza-Zorrilla, Davis-Valtierra and Torrez-Zavala will be broadcast live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN+ at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

I'm glad to see that Torrez Jr is backed by Top Rank. I am convinced that despite his small size for a heavyweight, he has good potential like Andy Ruiz or Alexander Povetkin.

Just came across this young boxer and I like his old style training. Never did Marciano any harm. Looks big and strong without being a giant like many super heavyweights now. Hope he goes a long way.

Yup, I think he should try to take a path like usyk, no reason to get in there with the big boys who are going to hit you hard and shorten the career when he can go to cruiser and always has the option to go back up.

Very explosive hard hitting fighter. He might be too small for the heavyweight elites so i could see him eventually moving down to Cruiserweight. He will also need to leave Tulare for an elite gym with top level sparring partners as his career progresses

I work in manual demolition in the UK for yrs, I can tell you using a sledge hammer like that to smash walls, concrete and large stone from building facades is not good on the bones, lifting large broken stones etc specifically throwing/dropping into rubble trucks will also take a toll on the body...
