I made the first version of my foldable coat hanger on a Glowforge Pro. And a scaled version of my puzzle table. And my dog chair. And a plethora of presents for the people I love. Honestly I'm not sure if there's a project that I've made that hasn't had at least one iteration or part go through my laser cutter.

@@buckosoft What she's saying is essentially the same thing, it's just closer to the intended accent. As with many people's surnames, their family's pronunciation often deviates across time due to different influences or motivations (often regarding the communities they choose to settle and fit in across time). It _is_ likely to be similar to "G-ier-tz", and you can literally blend the two versions yourself and see how similar they are if you had slightly different speech influences, especially if you make the "g" very, very short. A blend that evokes influences of both origins would be similar to "gyiertzch"

Why do you think foldable coat hangers are better than simply hanging your coat hangers at an angle? I'd say 90% of coat hangers have a swiveling hook, which seems better than having an asymmetrical fold at the back of your attire.

@@DoubleBob Well its a solution for a problem, but if you don't have this problem, then its just a worse version of something that we have now. I don't like glowforge because it's basically a scam. Any one part breaks, and they demand that you send the entire machine back to them for fuckloads of money, so they can fix it for fuckloads of money, and then they don't even send you your machine. They just send you some other refurbished machine that had already broken for somebody else. It's such utter bullshit. Instead of, you know, just making a machine where if a part breaks you can order the part and fix it.

I look at your hanger and see it differently. Sure, it's amazing for small spaces. But conversely, I see it as an answer to everyone's struggle of getting coat hangers on clothes without stretching out a neckline. It saves time as well as preserved clothes integrity. If you could make both sides fold in and click open, it's now a slide and go situation instead of the hassle of bending and stretching everything. Just an observation. Seriously a baller invention.
