I dont think its love with Thorne, given she has a military background, I think its just natural for her to equate "family" with those whose have saved her life. She's definitely sees Michonne as a threat to her position though. She actually reminds me of the doctor who tricked Beth into killing the other doctor to protect his role. I suspect Thorne is gay and Rick is like a partner but not a romantic one. She has a military objective and she sees Rick as key to achieving that objective. So in that sense, she is jealous. I'm hoping we will eventually find out her true feelings.

I am CONVINCED she (Thorne) has caught feelings for Rick (giving him love taps (body slams) and "stopping by" the crib for drinks) plus she is threatened by Michonne.
