Today Now was one of, if not the most hysterical segments of the Onion. They really did a excellent job of touching on the vapid, superficial, insensitive and Insincere aspects of news people. It's almost always the system, and yes, there are newscasters that willingly and happily engage in the graft, but it's the corporations that lobbied for the changes in law and regulations and then reaped billions off infotainment.
