After Effects Expressions can be handy for solving complex or time-consuming problems. This tutorial covers the 4 After Effects expressions that I have used consistently, throughout my career. These 4 are a great baselines and if you need more I've also covered the learning and process required for more complex expressions.

You might be sleeping on loopOut(‘offset’). I use it all the time now. Also instead of an if/else statement, you can do value * pickwhip to the checkbox control

Great video, btw you can just lasso opacity to checkbox and add *100 to ae code, and it will work.

You don't HAVE to learn how to work with expressions, but it sure helps! When you're at certain level, you want as many tools at your disposal as possible.

I just want to point out As a person with a mid computer, whenever you’re happy with the property you applied expressions with, don’t forget to convert your expressions to keyframes so that it will render faster in the queue Thank you for this, Cameron.
