She clearly plays in the same role: AP mage/assassin with low burst but sustained damage reliant on skillshots and short range but effective mobility to position around during fights. R is the really weird spell, not W. If there is something that will be balanced, it's that

With Viego you could drop turret aggro if timed the possesion right. But when he became a turret diving nightmare, they changed it if I am not mistaken.

I see what you mean but because of the timing aspect youll almost never see it outside of high elo and getting lucky. The difference is Akalis shroud isn't her ult ability, honestly its apples to oranges.

in top where you can just abuse your range and mobility advantage I think doing auto before any ability you do is crucial to conserve mana and you cant miss auto. Save E for the last part of the trade or as an escape since the dash with slow cripples juggernauts engage

I wouldn’t recommend the e for escape, sure it’s a little hop, but it also stops you from moving for like half a second ish.

@@bubbledog12 it's a slight net positive in range and the slow is absolutely crippling. Its legit one of the best disengage tools vs a juggernaut or anyone that can't dash.

“A rite of passage is getting yourself killed with her ult.” I played her for the first time yesterday and I used her ult at one point in mid. Part of it was stuck in the map geometry, which was intentional because I was trying to trap a guy into a small corridor. I used my E, which pushed me back into her wall, and I got stuck in the map for a half second and by the time the game put me back where I was supposed to be the ult was over.

if youre interested in ranged tops try Quinn too! You can win a game for your team they thought was impossible even if you fed, simply by using map awareness and speed. As for not seeing videos, unfortunately ranged tops are hated and seen as unimportant for the most part(even if the champs arent viable anywhere else really), youll just have to watch ____ champion top lane videos to get what you need.

It's important to note that the ulti is SUPER short timeframe. It's not this crazy field that locks people down for guaranteed kills. You see it on the rakan gank, he was close to tower and still almost got away. It last about 1 second or so. That said i think you will build her like fiddle and go for ulti cs reduction

Her range is a bit short and a lot of her power budget is in her ult according to the guide. My guess is that you would abuse her in lane as control mage like Viktor or Orianna with your superior range and put her behind to make your game easier that way. If you're an assassin, then you'd scale up with her and probably try to kill her in the side lane since your tools will likely have a lower CD than her ult. For everyone else on the map and in team fights, you do what you do against these sorts of team fight ult centric champions. You try to split and lock them in the side lane so they can't rotate to team fights. And if you have to fight her in a team fight, you have to tether/space the potential engage range of her ult similar to how you would do it with something like a Wukong, and ward/cover your flanks.

either riot removed the 2 spell buffer limit or you just flexed your scripts on youtube. Because you cant Q,E,flash,Q in rapid succession like that. If you tried that without scripts you'd get the Q and flash but not the E. That 2 spell buffer limit is why you dont see LB anymore. her rotation is Q,R,Q,W. but you cant do that quickly because if you tried you'd get the q and w but not the R. Maby you need to change your name to script capped lol

they've run out of ideas so they keep adding endless dashes, leaps and invisibilities and more and more complex nonsense to compensate. this ult is the magnum opus of this philosophy. and not even bothering to create an actual character anymore - just to make the basic tall skinny human model look as irritating and ugly as possible. not enough with the purposedly ugly looking human appearance, they just had to add the bunny ears in her head. considering how badly they have ruined the client with all the lag and VPN problems just in one year it looks like they are effectively trying to kill the game.
