I have a disability. One person may think a representation in the media is good. Another person with a disability thinks it's bad. There are as many perspectives on disability in the media as there are disabilities.

Sure, but saying that it's a disability to be cruel, bigoted, and nasty...is an insult to disabled people. Not only that but it trivializes disability. Like I'm disabled....this statement is objectively harmful. It demonizes the disabled, excuses poor behavior, and is just....insulting.

Check out season 2 of Good Omens. I forget the name of the angel in a motorized wheelchair, but she rocks the role.✌🖖

Being a jerk is not a disability and more people need to realize that.

I’ve had spina bifida since I was born 20 years ago and I can’t count on my ten fingers how many times I’ve heard or seen people say on social media that people with disabilities are special or have a superpower but that’s more tailored to people who have brain disabilities or disorders or telling me like look at that person at least you aren’t them like yes I’m glad I’m not them but I wish they weren’t them and I bet they wish they weren’t themselves either

Even most people with brain disabilities such as autism don't have any special abilities, it's a stereotype. I think the focus on special abilities is mainly from non disabled people misunderstanding disability rights/justice and thinking it's about disabled people "earning" equality by having some power that "makes up" for the disability and makes them equal.
