I'm impressed about the maturity of your advice, especially when it comes to not caring what other people think, and about dating and staying safe - I wish someone had taught me these things while I was in "Gymnasium". And kudos that you started a project in your school that addresses mental health issues! Back in my school days people would have been mocked for this - but we all know that such issues are nothing to be ashamed of, and that respect and proper care are due for persons afflicted by them. So stay safe yourself, and bring your senior year to a good end! You are an inspiration for others, even for people who are way older than yourself 🙂

Good point about developing good and respectful relationships with teachers. If you apply to highly selective colleges, you will need to ask a couple of teachers to write recommendation letters for your applications.

Hi Caro, friends will change from time to time due to different circumstances and good to keep on real friends and to keep the number small. At least, once you find yourself in a deep deep s**t you will realize your true friends and those who are surprisingly closer to you. Be happy with those who are close and distance and time doesnt matter supporting you. Wish you all the best and hopefully no one will hurt your soul once. Guess you know what its mean. Dont take everything to much serious while you are still young and should have fun.

I'm kinda like in your past state of mental health right now. For a freshman year I moved to my grandma and changed school and this year was terrible. I didn't find frends cause I'm not confident and I like studying social sciences and playing guitar and I don't like tiktok so it makes me some kind of freak and creepy for relatives who are cool and do not have ambitions in life. I only study and binge eat and feel sad is all. I want somebody to be near me, at least one friend but I feel like I don't deserve it. I have no idea how to interact with others in our society . I tried but what if I'm lame for others and they don't wanna talk to me. Maby this is because I'm awkward... BUT HOW LONG IS IT GONNA CONTINUE LIKE THAT. I never was on a single party or something, have no teenage experience. I tried to make friends in school but we are like from different planets and the alien here is me. (hope you understand what I wrote, I'm from russia actually) By the way thank you so much for your videos, you are so positive. I find reflection of my own in your thoughts

I‘m so so sorry this sounds terrible..Did you try to talk to anyone? Do you mind if I ask where you live? Like what country. Maybe talking to your parents or your grandma might be an option. Sometimes even therapy can be helpful especially if you struggle with bing eating and low self esteem … You are definitely loved.. please do not forget that! I know it feels like it’s always going to be this way but It will get better ❤️‍🩹

@@melismel1607 Thank you so much for your attention! The thing is, here in Russia people usually don't perceive things like teenage depression or other mental health issues. Like, most parents do not help their children, do not try to find a therapist cause its "ridiculous", nobody wants their children to be weak. Kind of a cultural thing. Though maybe you have folks like that in America or are you always so nice and supportive to each other? My relatives love me and we talk but not about my condition. They say "don't worry about it". PEOPLE DON'T BELIEVE IN DEPRESSION. The worst is that I can't develop any kind of human relationships. And my perception of world scares me a little I think its unhealthy. But I have no idea what to do so I'll let it be. At least when I'm playing guitar and watching movies and reading I'm able to feel happy so I'm not a complete mess yet. Is that so bad to not having friends and not leaving a house for a few hours? It's a question though, I'm really wondering. Life is so weird. Although now I know that you really read my rant and respond to it! Like, you are a human and you payed attention to me! And that makes me stupidly happy.
