I can't wait to get my flexibility back. I use to be able to slide down into center splits, curl my shoulder down to the ground and roll over myself over and over like a weird human rolling pin

Hi David! Can relate about not being able to sit with the anterior tilt, can you do a more detailed post on that? That'll be really helpful, thanks!
@khopeyourhope7288
@khopeyourhope7288 Жыл бұрын
Pelvis is slightly anteriorly tilted. Issue in sitting is that our hamstrings does not let us have enough hip flexion as needed to sit at 90 degree. As body bend backwards due to that we have a backward torque and we fell backwards. To overcome this just sit on a raised platform whose purpose is to reduce hip flexion so you can sit properly

This stretch is solving my lower back pain problems I've been suffering from for a year and a half now!!! My problem is that my lumbar lordosis gets inverted into a kyphosis whenever I sit on a low chair. This stretch is slowly making my pelvis more functional in these painful ranges of motion

I love all the information you give us, how it's done what it's for and if you're having issues how to adjust. I have permanent nerve and muscle damage and I don't have the same days, if I overdo my PTI can be done for 4 days. But if I pay attention while I'm doing then I can actually get more done than I have been able to

So i have a problem, advice needed! I'm relatively close to middle splits by just going down as close as i can to the ground, like it's just about an inch or two left and then I'm there. However, that's only when gravity is pulling my bodyweight down. I cANNOT get my legs anywhere near that if I'm not directly over my legs, hence why my pancake stretch is pathetic - i can't force my legs that far apart without gravity pushing my bodyweight down over my legs. It's not like I'm hurting myself while practicing more uprightly, it still feels like a perfectly normal stretch. It's not like i just don't have enough strength, I'm pretty sure, because then I'd be able to at least get my legs out without putting weight on them, not supporting any weight on them. Am i doing something wrong here? Is all the progress I've made just like cheating and not really progress if i can't do it without my bodyweight forcing down on my legs? Again, advice is very much appreciated lol.
