@@angelo7217 The Western media is very mischievous in its misrepresentation of other countries, especially Africa. What they forget though is what Nelson Mandela said of this type of shading others. He said to treat other people badly is to insult your own humanity. What Westerners need to confront is their own incompetence in colonizing Africa and FAILING to actually develop it enough to bring it up to standard. I would say it says more about them than it says about Africa that they failed it during their occupation of it.

She looks native African like a Somali or Ethiopian. She looks like a lot of African Americans. There are blacks in Yemen because Yemen was a part of the ancient Ethiopian kingdom of Axum. She is obviously of Ethiopian descent, her ancestors probably colonized Yemen or were Ethiopians or Sudanese who lived in the Middle East. So basically African.

Slightly taking pride in the wrong aspects such as economic prosperity. Girl needs to emancipate herself from European concept of "progress" and take more pride in Africa's traditional values. Rural and tribal communities, hunting and small scale agriculture etc.. That's where the wealth is at. Not building cities dammit.
@beingkltd
@beingkltd 6 жыл бұрын
A culture is not only made from one's heritage or old traditions. I'm Kenyan and young just like her and I support her message. We can't negate any side and label one measure of prosperity befitting to value our progress. You do not use what you fully don't grasp. I can choose to use the African values and rich history upheld as a way to measure prosperity or the modern leaps we're taking. At the end of the day it is borne of our struggles and wisdom, it is still ours.

What traditional values are going to put Africa in the 21st century? The world is advancing and you want us to go backwards because we are African? Africa is communicating with advanced countries and needs to keep up. If you knew what is going on in Africa you would know that these small time farmers are having a hard time because Africa has not improved it's methods of maintaining the trade and are now calling on White farmers to help them precisely because these old traditional methods do not work. I do not know how old you are but wake up and smell the coffee.

Brilliant talk except the very end, Melanin and the Afrikan are one, you can be Afrikan without ever visiting the continent, but being born there does not automatically qualify you as Afrikan, Europeans in South Afrika are NOT Afrikan because when they visit their ancestral lands of Europe people accept them automatically as “whites”

Then, by your logic, the Nigoni and bantu don't belong in South Africa. They are not natives; it is the Khoisan. By the way, The Cape was settled by the Dutch. There was no one for 175 years. Until Bantu arrived, the Khoisan were slaughtered by them. Then, the Dutch met the Bantu, when they came to the South from West African. You don't know nothing about Africa.

There is no such race called Arab race, it's an European concept to confuse you. You are of the Africoid race with it's different diversity and phenotypes. I have been to yemen, and the so-called Arab who migrated from Asia to joined the original Africoids PEOPLE from that country do not consider you to be Arab like them. The reason why you or your parent want to be consider Arab stuck is because of ISLAM or due to RELIGIOUS matter, eg, related to mohammed the prophet who i believe look more like you than them.

Congratulation! She rightly said the only thing dark about African is your ignorance and she was right. Africa is first of all not a country, secondly there are poor and rich people in every country in the world. Per capita income of Germany (35,954.21EUR) and that of UK (34,205.29EUR). So you are paying more tax than in income per capita. What Job is that?. If you are not making about 100,000 EUR a year, you can't pay such tax. @@danielemorandi2814 Europe and the U.S. are taking more from Africa than they give to Africa. Countries that are predominately white, are taking more from non white countries than they shell out. So called white countries would not survive without the exploitation of predominantly non white countries.

I belong to an experimental aircraft group, and we regularly get videos/pictures from random fellows in Africa who are trying to build helicopters and aircraft. Their attempts are comically awful, ludicrously unsafe, and fundamentally unworkable. Honestly, they've all had enough resources that they could have achieved something, but refused to learn even the most basic concepts from freely available information. Nor will they listen to reason and reach for low-hanging fruit by build simple, economical, and proven gliders. "Showing off" to their peers, immediately, is more valuable to them than slow growth and actualized success. And these are some of their brightest representatives who haven't left for wealthier countries. If anything, I feel sorry for those who are African and are left exasperated by their cohorts with this sort of mentality. They *know* they're capable, but it's learned helplessness.

And who made you a critic of people's African legitimacy? I'm going to stand up for my fellow Kenyan and tell you to stop your racial objectification. The African continent has always been a melting pot of different cultures before the era of colonization. Heck even Romans, Asians etc came to The East African coast before Christ's times and made ties through trade and intermarriage. Ethnicity is different from Heritage. She's ethically of Arab decent but is of African Heritage, Proof? Her families history and blood ties.
