Concerning the video at the 47:15 time stamp: In 2022 secular conservatives have this new mantra when speaking about cancel culture, "Never Apologize!" As a Christian that mantra most likely leaves a bad taste in your mouth because it seems contrary to what we believe. It's not as bad as you think. What never apologize means is if you say something that you know is right, and it offends somebody, never apologize for saying it. Apologizing for stating something that you know is right is like poring blood into the water with sharks around, they will eat you up, or it triggers a gag reflex and people throw you up. People who don't apologize for stating the truth don't get canceled. Christians have known that concept for 2,000 years, and it was God who directly tell us that. It's worded differently but it boils down to the same concept: “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth." Revelation 3:16 Apologizing for saying something you know is true is being lukewarm. Trying to remain neutral on a subject that has no neutrality about it is also being lukewarm. We are made in the image of God so it shouldn't be surprising that we would, and often do react similar to how God does when people are being lukewarm. That man in the video never had the respect of non-christians for the simple reason that he is a Christian. Being lukewarm by not standing up for what he knows is true, he lost the respect of many Christians.

I expect this to suddenly get deleted, but what about all the cultures that have a marriage outside of any of the Abrahamic faiths?

God wrote the law on man's hearts. Romans 2:15 explains that maan behaves by nature according to God's law.

@@BooserBoi Is that a catch all that you use for any explanation of how people do things outside of your mythology?

@CinnamonKnightEntertainment you asked a question, and then your response is combative. Why even ask the question?

@@BooserBoi I'm not being combative, although I am seeking more information. you must admit responses like hebrews 8: 10, romans 1:19, and in this case the admittedly less cited romans 2:15, seem to be common from christians without trying to explain how it applies directly. To an outsider without any biblical experience it kinda feels like just holding up a book and saying because this says so in a part. you gave a road map to the line, but not how it works. As for the Mythology comment, I'm an agnostic, While I'm not opposed to the possibility of their being a god I don't follow the abrahamic pantheon, its similar to you using the term towards Zoroastrianism or the greek pantheon. I ask questions about everything, It's in my nature because I like to get answers through experience or through discourse.

@CinnamonKnightEntertainment Fair enough. It's difficult to tell tone over text, so I took it as combative and not inquisitive. That's on me. I'm always down for discussion as that's how we learn. How would you explain marriage without a God or gods creating it? Why did people who are claimed to be animals with no purpose but procreation decide to self impose a rule that directly contradicts that goal? Why would people choose monogamy?

Just trying to imagine Ken's worldview in practice, and it doesn't even bare thinking about. Everything we've learnt prior to 6,000 years bc would be resigned to the academical trash can. Schools, Museum, Universities, Colleges, Libraries, etc. Any seat of learning that conflicted with the bible would be totally overhauled to be brought in line with it's teachings. Might as well bring back the crime of heresy for speaking blasphemy. It will never, ever become a reality.

Marriage in the Bible: 1 man + 1 woman & 1 woman & 1 woman & 1 woman & 1 woman & 1 woman & 1 woman ...

Atheists really prove they cherry pick out of context to try to have a point lol that is marriage in ONE part of biblical history, not the entire 66 books of the bible.
@kelcykunkel

That's how some people in the Bible CHOSE to define marriage as, not how God said it should be.
