My mom won 47k in a day at the Casino. They offered us everything for that weekend since we won on a Saturday at 2pm. The lady counted our money and told us sweetie please leave. Accept the free stuff food, drinks, clothes, tobacco, gifts. But do not spend the night. I told my mom she was so angry. But then I came back 7 months later and lost 10k in 45 minutes. Not 1 hit on the slot machine that day. The casino never loses.

You always take the comps and go. You know what else they do? They count out your money expecting you to basically tip it all out to people. I remember winning $100 at bingo and they came with it broken down in $20 and $1’s and with three people standing there waiting after they handed me the money for a tip. It’s not the old vegas. Even 90’s vegas was a little better than this crap now. This really is Disneyland for adults. Overpriced, nothing for free, locals get gyped and it’s not a fun place anymore.

For those who don't understand, the line of credit that the casino extended him is all made up. They likely just keep feeding him chips of whatever amount he wants, so it didn't actually cost them any money. Meanwhile, they're basically getting his performances for free. From the casino's perspective, it's best if Bruno never pays them off and just keeps working for free.

I had a client who had a bad gambling problem. She went to the casino every weekend. She put a lot of pressure on her 4 adult daughters to help her. Only one of them had a successful career in nursing, so she pretty much paid for everything. This lady was heading to foreclosure every year in NYC. They would throw su-su throw parties, but the nurse paid the most. She told her nurse daughter that if I didn't bring you to America, you wouldn't have this job. She was a nasty piece of work. I had to leave her alone.

Well you’re primarily talking about casino games, however, sports betting is more related to skill where research/study plays a large role in your prediction of the sports contest result. Whereas luck only accounts for a small amount, opposed to table games where it counts for like 50% (at best) of the outcome. Just saying some educated professional sports bettors don’t consider gambling as being taxed.

We need to do casino regulations in this country. regulate the casino's so they can be held accountable for stealing and taking advantage of people. Bruno should file a lawsuit for his loss. You have to start somewhere. I have always thought the casinos needed to be put in check federally with more mandates to protect the public. Also, this can be seen as domestic terrorism due to the high level of economic effects it has on this country 😢

All addiction wether gambling or drug addiction are life long illnesses or life long disorders. Meaning they never go away. Because a person might be clean for a year or even 10 years but can always relapse!! Best thing to do, is to never get addicted in the first place.

Its not true. Im a semi professional gambler. No casino is going to give anybody that much credit. Doesn't matter who you are. This isn't the 1960s. Most people don't gamble because it feels Worse/get really pissed to lose $50 than they feel Happy about finding/winning $50. So, losing money is too uncomfortable for most people. But the brain of a gambling addict works the exact opposite: Finding/winning $50 is makes them very happy, while losing $50 doesn't make them feel as bad. So they are always trying to get that "High" from winning. Gambling Addiction Is not really about the money.
