There are no trophies, rewards, and certificates for a man being a STEP FATHER to another man's child or children. I tried that for 5 years and i raised my step daughter from (6 years old to 11) . I got shitted💩💩💩 on by my step daughter once her mother and I broke up. I had every intention to get married but it didn't happen. I even suggested therapy to help fix our family so that we could still get married. However my Ex hated to hold herself accountable so therapy was not an option for her.

I just turned 52 and my children are teenagers now. I remember always wanting to have a family and raise children. Now that I am divorced for almost 15 years I would be frustrated at the thought of spending more time with another person's children even more than I am able to spend with my own children that I actually wanted. Will forever remember when my mom single mother of 3(all 3 different baby fathers) was dating while I was still in middle school/high school and I had the privilege of hearing her and her boyfriend at the time being extremely loud during there "intimate time" while me and my little brother were trying to get sleep in middle of night. Even during some school nights. My little brother was sleeping in room across from theres and I was downstairs and could hear everything so I could only imagine what my lil bro was hearing. I said something to her one time about it and asked if she could possibly keep it down or not do it during school nights while we're trying to get sleep and I was told it's her house and she can do whatever she wants .. im like ok 👍 lmao 😂

It's this simple. You had a child by "Another man" than the one you now claim you want. This means that men do not need to provide for "Your" child that you had with another man; period point blank! So now being a single mother if you want another man, KNOW (not think, not guess, not speculate) that those men will not want to provide for a child that is biologically not his. No adoptions, no marriage, and future divorce leaving the man to have an additional child to support. Men have said "Enough is enough" with us being used. She messed up by having a child with a man she no longer has around, so now she wants to have another man to take care of him/her?! The answer is NO!

If you're a decent man dating in this era, you have all the options in the world. Just get yourself together with decent income, your own place, and a car. The world is your oyster when it comes to dating. These single mothers can't pressure you into committing because they already come with baggage. They'll definitely try, but they know they are a liability to good men. Let them spend the night, cook breakfast, and "gone back to them kids."

Right, she could have had an amazing man who was doing well, and loved her. BUT as time passed, he changed. Maybe he got negatively influenced by the world and fell into drugs, started cheating risking her life to SYDs or became abusive to the point she had to leave for her safety. She is not GOD. How would she have known that her lover would turn into a different man. But men say it's her fault for picking the wrong man as if she intentionally chose to be with such a guy. They fail to realize that it's not always the woman's fault. They bash, belittle, say she's not valuable and judge her character due to the man's failure to protect his family. Where grace and understanding?

@@Oldpangolin I watch videos of single fathers giving testimonies about how they had a good women but when she was physically hurt and put on strong pain medication, she became addicted. She never had a history of drug use but this addiction to pain medication led her down a terrible path. And for his children's sake, he had to depart from her, hence why he is a single dad. Things happen sometimes, and people change sometimes for better or worse as we all stumble through life.
