I agree. In most stories the Bigfoot is usually in an incredible state of physical condition. If it actually wanted him it could have easily caught him. Most people say that they are so strong and can move so fast that it's unbelievable. I'm a Bigfoot enthusiast and my most of the time they physically don't want to engage. They are just startled and want to have their space. Like most creatures

Was camped with my 5year old daughter and my father, on a pull out along a logging road deep in the Cascades about 20 years ago. The pull off was just big enough for our truck. There was a rock wall on one side and a cliff and small lake on the other. My dad loved to fish those small lakes/ponds up there for trout. It was early morning when my dad climbed down the cliff to a small beaver pond to fish. The road was above the lake about a 100 ft or so. My daughter and I decided to go throw pebbles from the road into the pond to trick grandpa into thinking the fish were jumping. We walked up the logging road a bit. We were real quiet and having a great time until i walked over to the side the road to get bigger rocks. The embankment had gone from rock wall to a steap hill. The woods were very dense. As soon as I started squatting down to gather rocks, something huge came thrashing through the thicket and literally stopped right in front of where i was standing. It was just starting to become daylight. I could not see the creature. I could hear it breathing. Im 5'6, and i could hear its breath was above my head. I was petrified. I backed away slowly, snatched up my daughter like a sack of potatoes and backed my way back down the road to the truck, yelling for my father the whole way. My father finally came up the embankment to find my locked in the cab. He said he heard me yelling, however thought we were playing. I believe!!!!!!

It surely is not ALL fiction. I spend over 1500 hours in the woods every year in the remote woods of Maine and I know for a fact, after having similar encounters and finding barefoot 14" footprints, as well as talking to dozens of other locals who have either seen or had a bad time in the woods with these beings, that they are completely real and smarter than humans. They are bigger and stronger too. It sucks knowing they are real, I can't even enter my treestand until after first light and I don't walk 2 miles out of the woods at dark anymore. And no, they were not bear tracks I hsve seen plenty of bear tracks in my life.

Ive seen bigfoot up here in washington and its real eerie cause it feels like someone not something is boring holes into your soul with its gaze. It will let itself be known to you that they are nearby if they so choose to. I feel honored to have seen it.

When he said it moved so fast it seemed impossible I knew he was telling the truth based on a personal experience I had in the mountains of Washington State. Those things can move crazy fast even the small ones. when you see how fast they can move your first thought is that's impossible nothing can move that fast. We were stalked by a creature for about an hour and a half in the dark once it began throwing stuff at us we knew it wasn't a bear and it was time to leave. On our way back it let out a tremendous grow,l a series of growls that triggered us to run. while running down the trail another one attempted to intercept us crashing through the trees, the ground was shaking as it ran towards the trail I thought I was going to die that night but it stopped short of the trail remain hidden in the dark and we ran right past it, never did see it though but it moved fast I mean fast!

Yes the fact is their propably 8 or 9ft tall that is giant for human, when few humans been that long and you see how much taller that kind of human is compared to to you around 6ft small hobbit for them and so their full of strenght and so with their tall legs their abel to run like really fast. Not suprised they would be abel to run doubel as fast Usain Bolt runs. You dont really always see how big they are and thats why you think its impossibel to anybody run that fast, when its impossibel for human, because human is smaller, than bigfoot is.

About four years ago I was hiking near Juneau Alaska, we started the hike at 5am. About eight hours into the hike we heard what we thought was either a bear or a moose. It sounded like a very big animal, we couldn’t see it, we kept hiking and we then realized it was following us from the far left of us, maybe 25 yards away. We decided it was a bear and we stopped and my cousin took out his pistol thinking we might have to unfortunately kill this bear. We then saw what both made us freeze for about a minute in terror. About 12 feet up from a particular good size tree we saw a very large humanoid head covered with thick black hair and had gorilla like facial features. After about a minute we shook off our freeze fright and whatever it was then moved back behind the tree. We immediately turned around and sped walked back. It didn’t knock over trees but whatever it was it stalked us for another 30 minutes or so because we could hear this thing moving through the forest due to its sheer size. People say “why didn’t you take a pic with your guys’s phones?”. The thing is that was seriously the very last thing that was on our minds when our lives were in-danger of being killed by this thing.

I honestly believe it was a “Gigantopithecus”. These animals did exist and I believe they are still around today but now are what would be labeled as a “endangered species”. Very few still exist. I believe probably certain governments know they exist but don’t want to admit it because hunters would go wild out there trying to kill them off.

I believe. I’m from Southern California, I was really into ghosts at the time and always laughed off a Bigfoot until I finally visited Northern California and up to Oregon. I’ll never forget finally getting into the redwoods, the trees becoming more tall more huge… more vast. I said out loud to my ex at the time, “there is something else out here, there has to be.”

Just south of Rice Hill, Oregon. Southbound on the interstate. Dark, rainy night. Late May '98. Sitting on the side of the freeway: something with HINGED wrists and sitting tucked like an ape or a monkey would. Took my foot off the gas and decelerated as I went up the hill. We made eye contact as I stared out the passenger-side window. It stood up. And up. Was very tall. And walked off into the darkness. It was a Bigfoot or a Hoax. One of the two. I saw what I saw.

My dad has a similar encounter.. He is convinced the tree snapping was to drive him away.. He snuck on lands local natives say is forbidden to even them.. When he went around trying to ask why, some native teens said "The gorilla people live up there and don't like humans on their land".. Dad said he thought that was funny because we are in British Columbia and don't have Gorillas, so he and a friend snuck up one afternoon and spent the day hiking in the forbidden area, then when they came to a clearing at a river seen when looked like 2 giant hair covered (not fur) washing food and seemed to be talking in what he said was rapid grunts, snorts, whistles and chattering impossible for a human.. His friend slipped as he came out behind my father and he said both figures stood up and the male was about 10 feet and picked the other smaller female one up like a sack of potatoes over the shoulder and ran off.. Dad and his friend bolted but were chased and also described trees breaking every few seconds all around them as they ran.. Not branches lol, trees.. Dad said he feels it was meant to run them off their territory.. My dad is a super serious Japanese man, not into paranormal or superstition so i believe him

@Lunamaria that sounded like a condensed "made for comment" version of a even longer much more amazing story. You said they hiked for an entire day when the encounter happened? That means they were chased for hours, possibly until dawn? I have too many questions lol. Did they ever see them again during the whole event? Did the Sasquatch vocalize at all? Did your father smell them? You can't leave me in suspense like this lol. Im in British Columbia too and think I can guess the general area of where it happened, because I know which natives use to call them Gorilla people in the mountains, back in the 80s. My brother and I had rocks and sticks thrown at us during a hike near native land, but can't rule out pranksters with no visual contact. How long were they chased? My mind is playing it out like a movie lol

I live in the Cascades of Oregon and grew up here. During the 1970's through 1990's, there were so many Bigfoot sightings! Much less of them today.

That was a scary experience! I wonder if some of the 411 stories are of the same nature where people had such an encounter but wasn't blessed as you are to get away and live to tell about it! I believe these beasts are opportunists because it's like my daddy would say when I worked weird hours on a solo job...you're just a sitting duck! People should consider what's out in the wilderness before they go trotting off alone! I used to do the same thing but ever since I saw one of those beasts you can't get me to go near a trail in these Rocky Mountains! No way! I'm glad you got away! And whoever believes that these beasts just come out at dusk and dawn had better rethink that because they are out all hours of the day also!

@@michaelfarmer9901 First I want to tell you I have at least two photos of them! One a family and the other walking in the snow that I took in just this week! The family yesterday! They're hanging out at the treeline an of course wouldn't you know I had to use my cell phone however a magnifier glass does wonders! I'd be glad to email them to you! My encounter was in Aug 2017. I had just come back to town in these Rocky Mountains. One morning a little after 8:00 am I went out on my oldest brother's porch to smoke my cigar and drink my coffee mind you it sits right across from the marsh. While sitting there enjoying the quiet morning this beast all black, pointed head just strolls slowly through the marsh. I was captivated! It looked to be about 9 feet tall, almost taller than the shed I saw him standing next to, his hair was cold black and short! I watched until I couldn't see him any more. It's like he vanished into thin air but I know it's because of the thickness of the marsh he could so easily vanish and hide! My second situation involving one of these beasts is this. One morning a little after 4:00 am I got up and went into the second bdrm and sat down by the window. All was quiet until I heard a snarl! I could hear it walking around out back an I never looked out the window, I guess I wasn't ready at 4:40 am to see such a beast. The next morning I went out back and yes I saw a smudged foot print, I took a pic of that! I was like wow this thing is extremely close! The photo I took yesterday I could see one of the little ones from the distance that's when I decide to take a pic and lo and behold there were 3 of them! The one in the snow walking earlier this week I had no ideal it was in the pic until I made it bigger on my phone. I was like what the heck is that! Lol! So I got my magnifier glass an confirmed what I saw to be it...The Beast Of The Marsh an of course there's more than one! I saw eye shine this evening behind one of the big trees. It's as if it were peeking and several times it blinked! I told my oldest son who lives next door what I saw and he said aw that's a raccoon, an I said a raccoon's eyes aren't that far apart! He laughed but I was serious! At some point I saw both eyes in the dark! very creepy! Lol! I understand what people are saying about photos being taken with cell phones however with the pic I have one would have to use a magnifier glass because I wasn't up close and personal but looking through that glass showed me just how fortunate I am like so many others to see them! I believe they're coming to the marsh because of the mountain fires from the past few weeks! I can email the pics if you want. By the way the smudged footprint is one that anyone can tell that the heel of the foot isn't that of a human! It's very large!

In the late 80's a friend of mine told me and another friend that a friend of his friend told him about a friend that was an avid hiker/tramper and camper who absolutely loved the great outdoors, when one particular afternoon he was hiking & happened upon a clearing in the Woods and started toward it, as he got around halfway through it he suddenly felt terribly un-easy and was about to turn back the way he had come, when something invisible and very Powerful picked him up and threw him to the ground and was on top of him smothering the life out of him, the guy fought back with all his strength and somehow managed to get free of his back-pack and got up and probably ran faster than any Olympic sprinter out of the area, leaving behind his back-pack with his belonging's and an expensive hunting rifle, he didn't dare go back and stopped hiking and didn't like the outdoors so much after that and was just happy to be alive this is a true story, Now the Woods & Forests can be a very Spooky Place, I know this I used to work for the Forestry Department and have been in the Woods & camped plenty enough times and heard shit out in the Open Night that would scare the freaking Ba-jee-zus out of anybody, only way I'd go into the Woods or Forest in this day and age would be with a full Party Armed to the "Tee" With High Powered MSSAR Weapons & (Specialized Ammo) Night-vision gear- Pump action Shot-guns- Powerful Spotties- Infra-red- Stun/flash grenades- some sticks of Dynamite and a Bomb Ha!!! :P] .v (Nmcfmamf) ..

He's pretty damn lucky that all it did was flush him out of the bush . They know what a gun is and what they can do . They're the masters of their own domain and have sensory abilities that are far superior to our own . The two things that probably saved his life was that he backed away from it and paid attention to the wildlife and saw what those deer were doing . Personally I think it was just messing with him pushing him out of its territory like a hunter would with their prey and especially after he pulled out the gun .It definitely could have gone down a far worse than that . This isn't a creature to be trifling with .

I grew up in a town on the Oregon coast called Reedsport. A number of people have run into a Bigfoot around there. One person used to tell his story about running into a creature out in the sand dunes near the ocean, decades before the term Bigfoot was in use, called it the Sand Bear, because it walked like a person, but was covered in hair like a bear. Most people didn't pay much attention to him, but he swore by his story. Then there was something that would knock on the bedroom walls of a friend of mine, who had his bedroom built, detached from the house, at the end of a garage. The house was at the edge of a forest. I don't know if some Bigfoot girl had the hots for him or what, but I saw something with red eyes glowing in the dark, and it was pretty big.

This guy encountered a watcher of a tribe. It knew you were there miles before the encounter. Watchers patrol the outer perimeter of a tribes abode. When you pointed your gun at it, it ran away to alert the others. As you went to trail it that's when the hostility started. Braking tree trunks, rocks being thrown, and possibly grunts. That is your queue to leave the way you came.

How does an animal snap large trees in half? The only animal I've personally witnessed pulling up or snapping small trees are elephants. So this creature would need to have arm power greater than 5 or 10 elephant trunks. That is not only unlikely but it's surely impossible. I love the whole 'watcher' thing you just made up though

Just keep this in mind if you ever encounter one of these beings; A successful predator will not warn you of its presence if it has any intent of making a meal out of you. Also, if anything with that kind of speed, strength, agility, and stealth ability wanted to harm or kill you, it could do it before you were even aware of its presence. I think it's safe to assume that being just wanted the guy out of the area and wanted to scare him just enough to make him not want to go back. Based on its reaction when he pointed his gun at it, it clearly has some idea as to what a firearm can do to a living creature.

I think they are either humans that evolved In a different direction or a genetic hybrid of something that is human or a close relative to humans and something that's physicality goes beyond the 3 dimensional world that we know.

A hunting buddy of mine would leave early in afternoon who loves hunting deer which I thought was very unusual for him to leave early the last few day’s we had before hunting season ended . So after a month he says I need to tell you about something that happened during hunting season and started out by telling me where he was and that he used a tree climbing stand to hunt from and as the day coming to a end he heard some noise coming from a thicket. He just new a big buck was making it’s way through the brush so he raises up his 300 Winchester bolt action rifle that has a night force scope on it and starts scanning in the Area that he heard the sounds come from it was getting dark but he could still see really well through the scope and that’s when he saw a up right creature coming out of thicket he started to shake telling this story and he had a cigarette in one hand just shaking so bad as if he could see the creature again. I have never seen a grown man so scared. This man is a army veteran that served over seas in South Korea . he never went hunting again at least not with me in the woods that this took place . It’s been 18 year’s since this took place and I have yet to have anything close to this happening to me , but this army veteran has always been truthful . I can’t say I believe in big foot but I’m pretty close .

One of my neighbors back in the late seventies or early '80s had a run in with a Bigfoot . They said the thing roard like four men taking turns roaring as loud as it could as long as they could but it's never stopped roaring.... they never found their Doberman Pinscher but they did find his collar. ( of course it's more to the story but that's the gist of it) that was also in the Cascade Mountains of Oregon

I hiked into a weather monitoring station to find the instrument tower vandalized. I heard a tree knock and started back down the trail. I was being watched, followed. Not far from my camp as the crow flies I have heard vocalizations, documented foot prints and witnessed more vandalism. A large realtors sign was destroyed. Waiting on the next migration here at Sasquatch X-ing.

We saw a Big Foot in the Cascade Mountains in 2001. He had a prehensile big toe from the foot print he left that shot out to the side. We yelled out to him, "Hi, Big Foot!" He looked right at us & started running away with huge strides. This guy was about 10 feet tall & we had been hiking for at least 4 hours in. He had lighter fur, it wasn't dark like I thought it would be. We went hiking that day to specifically look for a Big Foot & we totally found him! It was amazing, miraculous & we'll never forget it! We went out the day before the trails opened up. All I will say about where it was is was I lived in Bend at the time.

As kids my sis n i experienced something in Shasta County in Northern Ca. I just remember being paralyzed with fear because we suddenly sensed something in the bushes on a paved hike. All i can tell you was it was big and white. For years I couldn't think of any wildlife that it could be. Then i read that Shasta County has some of the most sightings. And they can be white.

All of these terrifying, life changing encounters never seem to wind up in any physical harm being done to the humans involved. Aside from rock throwing, and in one instance poop being thrown, they seem to do a lot of "posturing" around us -- they also go on people's properties and bang their houses, roar, disturb or eat some farm animals, but not many actual attacks on record. Guns seem to piss them off, but that's understandable. They seem to be more of a big , giant nuisance than anything. And that is weird, because they obviously have speed, size, strength, and an innate ability to camouflage themselves in the wilderness, one or two guys with guns aren't going to do much against two of those things if they wanted to do away with them, but all they do is flank, herd and get people out of their territory.. I'm not suggesting they are necessarily benevolent, but there is really no evidence that they are actually dangerous to us. It may be that they fear us because they have been dealt with by military, and if the military gets involved, Sasquatches die. There is allegedly a lot of "interaction" between the military and these beings, and it's alleged that some military bases have several of them living on the grounds, one being Fort Lewis outside of Tacoma WA.

Ron I, I disagree with you! They have killed and murdered .If you listen to the true tails , like on Old Bears Den of Bigfoot , he will enlighten you also one other Lady who tells of many tails that folks have sent her name escapes me at this moment...just thought you should know!!!

@@onarickel3586 I have read or heard more tales of people killing them than the other way around. I heard one tale of a hiker who claimed a Bigfoot bit his arm off at the elbow in an attack, it seemed a bit far fetched and was unsubstantiated -- I think the odds are more likely that a bear or cat would attack a human and the statistics show that. Though it is quite possible that Sasquatch related deaths are covered up by the authorities. I have no doubt they have killed people. I know the story of Portlock, Alaska where a murderous Sasquatch allegedly killed some hunters and construction workers, along with some animals. These events apparently led to the residents abandoning the town. Overall, most tales are of bluff charges by Sasquatch, being chased by them, being yelled at, or people having rocks thrown at them.

@@ronr7905 yes I agree with what they do must of the time and the story I refer to is one of pure murder and yet I'm pretty sure that they were fired on 1st they bent this mam in half back wards the stuffed him in his truck floor board, blood every were his eye popping out of his face.now that wasn't done by any 🐻 bear. There are more stories but I don't recall them at this time... Perhaps it was a mutant group or the flaming red eye creatures I don't have the answers and I only know is what I hear from these encounters , thank you for responding , God bless and take care of yourself. True military have killed quite a few of these creatures only dangerous ones tho and it's not always been one way either a couple of soldiers have also been killed while in combat with sasquatch

@@sasquatchmodchris7364 I've heard that the "rogue" sasquatches are nightmarish to deal with, their size, speed, intent and cunning is allegedly terrifying to a squad of heavily armed guys. But overall, it's stories about creatures looking in windows, yelling, throwing rocks, it all seems to be a message to stay out of their territory because we are a nuisance. Get that, WE are the nuisance.
