She a Boss. Ive been a comic fan since the 80s. She Really hit her stride in the 90s when she ran (i Think) the Gold team. The 90s Storm was a thing of Beauty, Class and Grace. Im saddened by chadwicks passing because i Really hoped she would arrive in and marry Black Panther

I agree. I almost see her Marvel's Wonder Woman. I think Marvel needs to promote her more versus all of these new characters. I really hope they cast her well in the MCU. We need someone with charisma, beauty and power like the character.

Storm is amazing and i really hope in the movie, Tv show, animation or game they give her justice not nerfing her but make her stronger just like in the comic

Great video! Maybe Marvel sees this and realizes it's the perfect way to introduce the Xmen into the MCU, not all at once, but by tying each character to an existing Marvel character

Nobody ever talks about her tribe where she got her white hair her tribe was the only one on kenya that had white hair thus granted her the able to control weather in her tribe not saying that gave her her powers but she still my favorite xmen next to gambit and wolverine

Her mutation granted her the atmokinesis abilities. But her lineage gave her an affinity for magic (which has yet to be fully explored. We got a taste of it from an alternate universe version of her that trained Magik.)

I know we live in an era where we actively avoid uncomfortable truths (and also don't want to date the character), but the war where Storm lost her parents and buried after a missile strike, was supposed to be the Six Day war between Israel ad Egypt. This is important, as it sheds thematic light on her Big Sister/ Little Sister relationship with Kitty Pryde, one of the first characters in Comics that was very vocal about her Jewish Heritage. Also - he completely ignored the fact the Storm is Bisexual and had a relationship with Yukio in the early 89's, bringing in the original Punk Rock Mohawk version of her character.

Her relationship with Yukio is the one romance I hope to see in the MCU. Since T'Challa is being retired, I think this is a great opportunity for Marvel to do something different. We all know that Marvel has been heavily pushing diversity in recent years. They have the opportunity to making a film with a black, bisexual, female lead, who's also one of the most popular characters they have, with one of the most fleshed out origin stories. She's not only been an Avenger, but also a member of the Fantastic Four, and has the potential to be a Sorceress Supreme. Marvel would be foolish not to give us a Storm solo project. Hell, they could even make her the leader of the X-Men when they finally debut.

Not gonna lie. I think Storm's first introduction in the Claremont comics was perfect. Retconning her to be from Harlem, a thief, etc just dilutes her identity. I mean, if they want her to hook up with Black Panther at a later point in time I might disagree with the decision but it's not a big deal. I think adding all these details was a mistake. Her original backstory is just a sidenote in all this.

Hey could you help me out please by explaining like in your thumbnail you put her comicbook logo at the front of an image of her , how can i do that with images please

It takes some practice and you might want to look up some tutorials online but the software I use is called GIMP. It's free to use so you can download it and start cutting images and putting them together. I also use canva.com for putting together thumbnails and cooltext.com to generate text.

Thank you very much :) I use canva too, but felt quite ignorant cause i notice so many youtube videos with logos of tv shows in front of images of those shows and your logo of storm over her image look incredible, but i have little concept of doing the edit action, does it have a specific name like 'placing text over image'? 🤔

@@newbeginning3568 I usually cut out the images I want to use in GIMP by erasing the backgrounds and saving them as PNG, and then putting them together on Canva. Of course, if you're looking for logos and stuff to use then you can often find transparent PNGs online. Just remember to include "PNG" in the search terms when you look for logos and pictures.

Jane Johnson why not? She’s loved by the gays. Most of the gay people I know, grew reading the X-men and have expressed love for Storm, so I don’t see how she could be the equivalent of Madonna in comics.

Storms dad was a photojournalist. It was his job to photograph the events of the war. But yeah, you're right; they unintentionally traded one bad situation for another.

I hate when they re-write an origin story saying they met prior to their 1st appearance when its clear they haven't.

What did they re-write for Ororo? I remember reading X-Men since 1980 and most of this fits what I learned way back then. Even her meeting Charles in her pre-teens, ... typed that out then reached 3 min in. Yeah the part at 2:56 and seeing a stone with the hint of the future was a retcon. When Ororo first met Charles and the other "New X-Men", like Nightcrawler, she did NOT know them (not remembering pickpocketing Charles years ago) or seen to recognize Nightcrawler. Nor did she know about Apocolyse. or met the X-Men.
