Refreshing to see a piece of kit that doesn’t have the maker’s name or logo carved into it. And what a piece that is too… wow! 🤘

Hi great steering guard love it. Well done. 2 things to note first one been copper and aluminum also are not best friends. If you look up tef gel it's a much better product for galvanic corrosion protection. also I don't think it's acceptable were safety is concerned to replace the steering drop arm bolts with a4 stainless when they should be 10.9 grade steel bolts there is a massive difference in strength . If that drop arm fails it's game over for everybody in the car and also risking other people's life who could be affected in the crash. That bar bolts to the panhard and that failing is not good as you can imagine. I've been in bad crashes in landrovers due to wrong use of fixings . Anyhow great guard very well built love it. looks great.😊

Very good point regarding the Stainless Bolts. Plus I've not seen a stainless bolt, modern one anyway, that hasn't shown signs of rusting. Interested to see the actual specs for the supplied bolts..

May have to update my old Mantec one with one of these shiny ones… might be a bit bling for my G4 though, hmmm

Hmmm...I think I prefer the 'evolved' versions with holes to aid airflow and also water flow (when doing river crossings).

@@LRLiveUK thanks. That's what I wanted. I have a series 3 Land rover. The problem is that their is only one steering guard available for series land rover, and it's truly awful. I might buy one of your steering guards and modify the brackets for the series leaf spring chassis. I need more confidence in buying really because I can't afford to return it for no reason. I just need to know what width it is at the widest point and the thinnest point (top) don't really want to start to chop the new guard. Thank you
