Have you ever thought about the reasons why there are lunar and solar calendars. For examples, our Islamic calendar is lunar but we also use the solar calendar. Dr. Taimur Rahman argues that it was the agricultural revolution that caused societies to shift to the solar calendar to accurately predicts the seasons.

In India, hindu calendar, specially in north, follows lunisolar system. They add one extra month in few years.

one solar year is technically 365 days plus 5 hours, 48 minutes and several dozen second long so after every 4 years another day is added in the year to compensate the difference, in February as 29th.

In my humble opinion the comparisons are unjustifiable a Tamur is an academic and has much credible information whilst Rathee is primarily a youtuber who might have a researchers team. Regards

Sir kindly confirm my analysis is it true or wrong A day is in which earth completes it's rotation around its own axis A year is in which earth completes it's rotation around the sun A month is in which moon completes it's rotation around the earth (historically saying) If it's true than what is the saying for a week? Is it intentional invention for economic system or it has any astronomical perspective???
