Fun quote attributed to Vince. This was prior to the Monday Night Wars. When asked if he ever worried about some one doing to him what he did to others. Supposedly he said "When I go I will be eaten by the biggest baddest predator on the block. And I'm going to make sure he chokes on me on the way down." Truly one of a kind.

To be a fly on the wall when Vincent Kennedy McMahon had to convince his dad that going national and competing against the regional promotions I bet he explained every detail of his plans and reassured him it would be beneficial he did love his dad and probably knew he was dying the best example why I think so is when Madison Square garden honored vince sr he was giving a very loving speech and he starts crying you can definitely tell there was a lot of love there for sure his dad wasn't going to ever give up on his son you can tell vince sr loved his son and was always going to give 2nd and 3rd chances

If his stories about his childhood are true, Vince McMahon is probably the kind of guy who never knew and never will know "enough." He can find success, maybe even genuine love, but no matter what he accomplishes and no matter how much money he has there will always be a hole in his soul gnawing at him from the inside and making him feel insecure. No amount of control and no amount of money will ever fill that hole, never make him feel secure. John D. MacArthur was like that. Elon Musk is probably like that. It's the sad truth to a lot of "rags to riches" stories.
