I have always loved The Pagemaster as a child and I thought it made sense to create a music video for it.
I do not own the video clips or audio in this movie.

... tears of joy and nostalgia. Though the 1990s weren't perfect, when watching this and other films from then, they made life more enjoyable and everything seem more magnificent. I'm glad to have been a kid in the 1990s.

Yeah the sad part is that while I liked it it also felt like a sort of proof of concept reel to present to a studio to pick it up as a series. The pacing was weird in that it felt like stuff happened too soon or too quickly, and it took away a little from his growth as a character. Like all the pieces were there but it needed more time to really steep. Also I just wanted more adventure, more characters growth and just MORE. I think had they turned this into a series where each week they looked at the world of a different classic book, and it went on for weeks, but still had him return back to the real world moments after he left on his journey, it would’ve been a timeless classic for sure that many people still remembered to this day. But then again early 90’s no way you could cast Whoopi Goldberg, Macaulay Culkin, Patrick Stewart, and Christopher Lloyd on a children’s show of a brand new IP. Would’ve been far too expensive. But still, alternate universe, who knows. Haha

"No matter how old you get, no matter how rigid over time your heart might become, it only takes that one memory to soften even the hardest of surfaces." I haven't heard this song for over 20 years. I made it a habit to watch the pagemaster every Friday night when I was young. Even though I am in college, to me, nothing is more motivating and powerful than your cherished memories.

I know the feeling all to well. Sometimes we may feel horrible, or even start to lose sight of who we once were. But, when you come face to face with a precious old memory (this for example), it's like being visited by your younger self. And it's this child that can both brighten your day, and re-awaken an old, but beautiful part of your heart.😊 In fact, its these precious memories that can also help us to see at times, what's truly important to us.😊😊

This song is pure nostalgia. It really hits me hard, making me think of much better times in my childhood. Having sleepovers at my Grammys house with my cousin that I was so close to, we were practically sisters. Now my Grammy is gone, my cousin totally disappeared after my family bitched her out for not telling us that my Grammy had a stroke until 2 days after it happened. I wish I could go back and spend more time with my Grammy before she had the stroke..

This movie is epic in every little detail, the soundtrack is amazing, characters are great, and the animation is amazing, specialy considering the year it was done. The only thing to complain is that it doesn't go deep inside the stories it was supposed to show kids. But even if look at this angle, showing little about them made me curious to READ the rest of these stories. This movie is perfect.

fucking LOVE this song. If only I could find the full scene from the movie that goes with it. I swear i must have rewound that scene a hundred times. I know some critics didn't really like this movie, but its one of my all time favorites. and fortunately my 7 years old nephew adores the movie too, especially the scene with Jekyll and Hyde. XD

What is the big difference in the kids movies of today, compared to the ones of the 80’s and 90's? It comes down to one thing really. And the length and breadth of that thing on display in the 80’s/90's has stood the test of time. You can still experience it in today’s movies, but it’s not as fresh, brave and bold as it was back when I was tyke. I’m talking about this thing that drove the ideas behind many of the kids films of that era. And that one thing was used so well, respected and pushed to the boundaries and back time and time again it gave us movies that were oddly original, entirely inventive and unusually unforgettable. That thing of course, was pure Imagination!

I used to watch this movie with my grandma who passed this year. And coincidentally, you had posted this on my birthday, July 20th. I know it may seems silly. But I feel like somehow my grandma pointed me here.

This song is beautiful and I love this movie ❤ I miss these movies when using your imagination was a big part of films that's why my favourite movies are fantasy, In my opinion children who use their imagination and have fun have a better childhood hence why I did
