The strong relationship between China and Pakistan, as illustrated most recently by the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, has long played a key role in Asia’s geopolitics. However, broader regional developments over the last few months-including growing ties between Moscow and Islamabad and increasing cooperation in Afghanistan between Moscow, Islamabad, and Beijing-also raise the possibility of a new coalition involving Pakistan, China, and Russia. This event, hosted in collaboration with INDUS, a Washington DC-based research organization, focuses on the evolving relationship between the three countries; considers how real and potentially effective this trilateral partnership may or may not be; and highlights the possible implications for U.S. policy in the region.

May Allah give strength to Pakistan. USA played double game with us and it's a extra regional enemy of Pakistan.

Pakistan does not want enemies, we are just more aware of blindly trusting nations who keep letting us down. Pak USA friendship is now at even terms, eye level. With mutual respect.

It is important for both China and US to have good relations with Pakistan. With Pakistan on its side China will surely be more strong in the region. While the US should be cautious not to disturb its relations with Pakistan. The only reason US won the war with Soviet Union is because it had Pakistan on its side.Russia will also not miss a chance to keep good relations with Pakistan.I think if China+Pakistan+Russia are united they can never be defeated as they share borders have strong militaries and are nucklear powers that will give them edge.

It already is a coalition. Each of them have trained with each other with joint military excersies. Pakistan never do this with anyone unless they were officially a defence partner. It is called interoperability in warfare.

On the 1 hour and 32 minutes this Mr Kuchins just apologies and takes his previous comment or statement back.. what an intellectual to conduct a debate who doesn't know the difference between Chabhar port and Gwadar port no wonder USA is doomed due to these stupidity and lack of knowledge in reality.

The Ottoman Empire Stretched from the Strait of Gibraltor to India before the Ottoman Empire Allied itself with Germany. With Friends like Germany and China who needs Enemies? Removing all Sanctions from Russia and Pakistan would be best for both Peoples.

Pakistan Talabain is a Pakhtun outfit which is often alleged by Pakistan to do terrorist attacks in Pakistan with Indian support. Afghanistan Talabain has recently allowed India to build a university in Afghan Talabain Khandar. Most of the terrorist killed by Pakistani army are Pakhtuns. Pakhtuns recently protested in Islamabad where the salogan was. “ DASHTGARDI KA PEACHA VARDHI HAI.”The day is not far when the two Pakhtuns factions will join hand and demand independent Paktunistan west of Indus,
