Klay post game is actually pretty good and he is the best defender BY far out of them! Kyrie and Luka are a great duo and they’ve shown that they’re the skilled and talent rs but Steph and Klay in their primes use to give the NBA HELL. Like between them GS alone would have like 12 3s…Alone anyone of them could drop 8-10 3s on any given night, and the other one pinch in 5, so that is potentially 13-15 3s between them. That time was crazy cause fam them niggas did not miss lmao. Steph shooting 43%. Klay’s shooting 42 from 3 in their primes really is OD

Steph and Klay were so great of a backcourt that they called them the "Splash Bros". I feel as if Luka and Kai have great potential as backcourt but they both need the ball in their hands so much it is basically "my-turn-your-turn" style of basketball like we've seen before with Harden/Kyrie or PG/Russ. The reason why Steph/Klay is the #1 backcourt duo of all-time is because Steph, while he is dangerous with the ball, is MUCH more dangerous when he doesn't have it making the dynamic of the two lethal. For Luka and Kai to be even close to that convo is that Luka has to find a way to play better without the ball and switch between being a PG to a SF because both Kyrie and Luka need the ball in their hands to be effective. But that's just me.

@DTS_I I completely disagree harden and cp3 had to play the kd warriors and preformed better against them than any team and they had less talent on that team, while cp3 and booker went against teams with injuries in damn near every round (ad, Bron, jamal Murray, kawhi all hurt) and even giannis had a scary injury in the playoffs so naw big dog I don't think it's close

Klay was a great shooter and good defender. His defense was one of the reasons GSW had such an elite defense bc of his on ball perimeter defense. Meanwhile Luka and Kyrie are liabilities that are targeted. Klay’s versatility is underrated.

I will not allow john wall erasure to exist. At his peak he was 24 and 10 with GREAT defense, he made a all nba defensive team and is the best shot blocking PG. His 2017 playoff run was 27ppg 10apg 2 steals and a block. Iirc for a 5 year span wall led the nba in corner 3pt assist he's one of the best playmakers of his generation AND was the top 3 most dangerous in the open court due to his speed AND playmaking. Beal was upwards of 24ppg and was one of the best 3pt shooters in the nba From 2012-2018 the only backcourt better then them was curry and klay, they were better then dame/cj Lowry/Derozan kyrie/waiters etc

FACTS!!! Wall was always a good catch and shoot 3 point shooter. His flaw was shooting off the dribble shots. To say he’s one of the worst in history is just not true.

Kyrie definitely gets glazed for his good games and ignored for his lows I swear dudes mention that damn 11 dribble game everytime you mention klay which he has never duplicated or cane close he probably has more 2/12 games than 30 point games

now i agree that curry is a better player than Luka and kyrie. I’d even go on record to say that curry is arguably just as skilled as a shot creator than kyrie and luka, if not better. but to say that curry eclipses them both when it comes to skill on ball is clear delusion.

Klay is a top 3 shooter of All-Time. Prime Klay for career is 46% from the field plus 42% from 3. KD’s 50% from the field but 34-36% from 3? KD whole game is mid range. Klay comes off pin downs/screens and shoots the mid range pretty good rs! The difference is KD is 7ft. Klay is maybe the only man who gets hotter than Steph.

KD is 39% from the three for his career not 34-36% KD shoots the midrange at a much better clip,is much better at the line,self generates way more of his jumpers. shooting is more than just percentages and kd has a case

Yeah but if that the case kd is better than Reggie and kyrie is better that Reggie if that the case I don’t think kd out his mouth would say he a better shooter Klay.Klay is the best stop up shooter of all times and the second best three point shooter and he is still good from mid range and he had a post fade over smaller gaurds so yeah I think he is a better shoot than kd and is a top 3 shooter of all time and Klay and ray are Intertangible

@@MarzTalksSports On what 5 attempts? If you want to count that sure. Klay is better at shooting because objectively the 3 is the harder shot. KD’s more efficient sure but Klay shoots better. Bron is shooting a higher FG% than Steph for career, and so is MJ but does that make them better shooters than Steph? No. Same thing with KD. Although we can both agree KD shoot better than both MJ and Bron too.

@@savonsanders8684 were talking jumpshots idk why ur using overall fg% thats silly. i only said kds 39% cos u said hes 34-36% i was just correcting you. the accuracy on jumpshots is all that matters not overall accuracy,layups and dunks arent shooting ability. Kd shoots better from the line and midrange and off the dribble theres multiple aspects of shooting and kd does alot of them better. if were talking shooting as a whole its not crazy to say kd may be better than klay. if were talking strictly threes its klay

@@akwesirobinson1710 Reggie had more to his shooting arsenal than klay did but you could also make the argument for kd over reggie too it would be a similar case,its harder for players pre 1997 since we dont have their midrange percentages and thats when reggie peaked but u know eye test we can have the discussion

I feel like they was underestimating Klay ability to get to the after running through picks and he could attack slower footed bigs and he could do one dribble pull up .curry is better than both Luka and kyrie Klay is the worst out of the floor but I take this dou because Klay is a elite on ball defender and he could score point with even dribble and curry could play on and off the ball while kyrie and Luka are both liabilities on defense and are primarily dribble who need like 8 to 14 dribble to get a bucket it just a better fit

Klay is a top 3 THREE POINT shooter all time. He isn’t effective enough from anywhere else on the court or at any other offensive skill to put him over Kyrie/Luka off the strength of being next to Curry. That’s ridiculous

Luka is a much better scorer, shooter, and shot creator than Wall. Wall is the better passer, playmaker in transition, finisher at the rim. I’d obviously take Luka tho. Post prime Kyrie vs pre prime Beal I would take Kyrie. Wall/Beal >>> Lowry/Derozen Dame/CJ. Their games complimented each other better than the other duos they named .

@@RichboiRob I don’t think he’s a better passer than Wall based off of the types of passes I’ve seen both of them make in half and full court settings. That isn’t something crazy to say at all and I’m not smoking anything. Again I’d take Luka overall but I don’t think he’s better at passing the ball. From lob passes, to penetrating and passing, passing to players off pin down screens to the corner, wings, cross court, bounce passes, behind the backs, backdoor cuts etc.. not saying Luka can’t do those things I just think Wall does them better. Think it’s been a long time since people watched John Wall play at his best whim Luka is currently at his best.

If anyone is building a team and takes Kyrie/Luka over Steph/Klay then u crazy. Steph/Klay struck fear into teams. Everyone knew these guys are going off in the third quarter but when it started happening, there was nothing you could do to stop them and they didn't need to play a lot of 4th quarters

Like people overate Luka and kyrie skills like Luka is a skilled dribbler and shooter and passer while kyrie is just a shooter and dribbler while Klay is a elite shooter and elite on ball defender and curry is a elite shooter playmaker and elite dribbler people forget that people was saying curry had the second best handle like their best in a combined skill sense

Even as a steph fan, seeing Steph not be able to break down Kevin, Love for the last second shot made me realize how hard it is for Steph to create his own shot in the last few seconds. He's just not that type of guy. Kyrie Irving for some odd reason can get a shot off almost at any point. Even Damian Lillard. But for some reason with Steph, his handles or his physique just doesn't let him elevate high enough to just shoot over anybody. It's the weirdest thing

I mean thats 1 play while being kinda injured. Is like me saying Lebron cannot create by himself because a few times Curry stopped him 1v1. With Dame i would argue teams let him shoot compared to Steph. They put 1 guy on Dame and they contest, with Curry they try to run him off the 3 point line and force him to pass the ball by double him. Curry ussually doesnt get plays in which he can size up his defender at the perimeter.

Luka is a better passer than Steph yes but Steph is a better playmaker than Luka with and without the ball. Steph mere presence is a problem rt. That’s the difference dawg. Steph can dominate on the ball and put up double digit assists but that’s not Kerr’s system. Under Mark Jackson system I saw Steph get 8-10 assists a night along with 25 points running the pick n roll with DLee, Speights and Bogurt. Steph can score at a ELITE LEVEL anywhere on the floor on and off the ball. As Derrick White himself described facing Steph after losing the 22 Finals. He called it “paranoia” lmao. This is the same guy that Steph cooked who’s got Kyrie on lock rn. Mind you, White or Jrue is Kyrie’s main defenders. Steph had Marcus, the DPOY, Brown, Tatum and White on him and he was still cooking them while talking shit to them and the Boston crowd….
