You have to put this game into context. If there is something at stake, which there definitely was for Arsenal. The players are playing with that on their mind. I never believed Arsenal would smash Utd because what was at stake. Lose the game, and the title is over. If this game was matched up in game week 20 with the same players, Arsenal would have played a lot less cagey. They just need to get the 3 points at this point in the season. Arsenal did the job. All they can do is keep winning.

Look guys, I'm an Arsenal fan and I will say we have the best CB pairing in the league at the moment BUT if you look at VVD's individual stats you'll understand why he's there and Saliba and Gabriel aren't. He is the single best CB this season BUT as a pairing Gabriel and Saliba together are better then VVD and whoever is playing next to him. And since this is an individual award (POTS) then yeah, it should go to him. It's not his fault they don't have more CS, there's other ppl in the defense with him, he can't do everything.
