A tour of The Park at OWA including the OWA Downtown, the OWA Amusement Park and OWA Rides. We review The Park at OWA and do a walk through of the OWA park and downtown along with seeing the main rides and attractions with footage of Rollin Thunder roller coaster in action. At the end of the video is a link to a playlist that gives dedicated videos to other specific attractions at the OWA including The Groovy Goat, Paula Deen's Family Kitchen and the Theater at OWA Featuring Legends.

We used to have a Lucy’s Retired Surfer Bar in Baton Rouge but it’s been gone for several years. Seemed to do well but I guess not!

They used to have locations in New York, Austin, TX and several other locations that all went out of business and then they had some business reorganization. I just looked up their most recent locations and it looks like now they also still have locations in Biloxi and Aruba. Before Katrina they had some good food but the food hasn't been so great at the New Orleans location since then on the few times I tried it again.

It's not O.W.A.(you don't pronouncethe letters individually), it's OWA(O-Waa) from the Creek Tribe word for Big Water.

You are 100% correct and I know that is how it is intended to be said. I spelled it out as KZfaq/Google/Facebook voice recognition understands me spelling it out better than me saying it as one word. So for search ootimization I spelled it out rather than say it as one word to help rank higher in searches. I probably should have also mentioned it was actually called "Ohhwa" and not O.W.A. When I say "Ohhwa" it is speech recognized as ohhhwa so I decided to just use O.W.A. to keep it simpler all around.

They are adding an indoor water park and have some new businesses in the downtown.

The casino bill got sacked in Feb 2021 buy Gov Ivey is still trying to push the issue, we shall see. One of fails so far is Wahlburgers, they were just a disappointing restaurant. The Boston original is pretty darn good but this one was not. Nice job Nola Gent!

@@NOLAGent1 I was surprised when they said it was indoors. Should be something really different from other gulf coast water parks Who can only operate seasonal in warm weather months.
