Bro i agree with you on all points for P10S. Its brutal in PF but its actually very fun to do. I cleared after around 25-30 hours of "clear" parties and i havent touched the game since. I decided to take a few days for a break before going to P11S because it was so damn frustrating and probably the worst experience ive had clearing a fight in the game. The fight itself is fun but theres so many people who just cant do the mechanics right and mess it up for everyone else.

Nice video! this is my first savage and only on pf (I don't think I have the patience for static right now honestly, plus the idea of being a pf warrior working my way up besides all the struggles seems kinda fun), your comments were all spot on on what my experience was xD for me is a little rough because I'm from dynamis and travel to aether to raid so that means no multitask on gathering materials/crafting/accessing retainers while waiting for a party to fill but this is what I signed for Progging p9 so early without guides out there was so weird at first, all the toolbox links made me appreciate more this raiding side, of working with what you got even if its not the most optimized. I find so funny the little war going on of which strat to use on LC, I'm open for people to use whatever they are more comfortably with and its why you have the option to create your own group and have people with favorite strats similar as yours (but JP still better heheheheh) If only people actually read the pf description before joining... I'm new so cant judge how bad this always been but the amount of wipes because someone was doing a different strat than the one listed or asking mid pull what the strats were and then decide they dont like it and leave was absurd About p10... oof .. its crazy how spread the spread and stack the stacks can be so brutal xD right before maintenance I joined one of those parties with cringe disband description for p10 and then during one pandaemonic meltdown phase the party leader stood next to me with a spread marker and spams chat with ?????? even though I was in the corner and couldn't even get away of him, he kicked me from the party when I said he had a lot more space than I had and spreads on the same side are more than fine... honestly, good riddance Then on tuesday I formed a group to clear and we made to HH multiple times and finally to enrage, at this point I was afraid someone would leave when the timer ran out but we reinstanced (just the fact they stayed for a whole lockout is impressive enough) and after some more pulls we made it :D that clear felt much more satisfying with everyone so positive and sticking together till the end than what would've been with that toxic guy I didnt even touch p11 yet because my brain was so done with these wipes, its seems tis going to be another banger though

Great video, man. Lovely job explaining how whimsical the first two fights are, despite how absolutely frustrating they can be sometimes. 10s is a fun and simple fight, but I personally think it also sucks so badly because damn near every mechanic is a body check that will just straight up wipe the group when people are missing. Daemoniac Bonds 3 is probably the most hellish mechanic for pf because, as you said, people can't spread/stack. Also, as a fellow tank that's been pfing this tier, I feel your pain with all the work you do compared to the dps lol.

I start progging p10s on thursday week one, already learn everything beforehand bc im not doing it blind, i reached enrage 2% but i stuck there 5 days until monday for the clear... It's the pf not letting me clear... Yesterday i just cleared p11s its much easier and more fun to prog, atm still learning how to p12s... Pf is not only about you can't communicate properly or hard for teamwork but the more annoying thing is many people lying about their prog, so even in an A2C party, there always at least one trap joined to steal prog. That's an easy blacklist for me, i really hate people who ruining my/other people's clear run.. Imagine failing doing turrets in an A2C party, that's......

I didn't clear P10s until about a month and a half after I started the fight. After two weeks of people dying to bonds I got sick of the fight so I skipped ahead to P11 and cleared it after a few lockouts. Every Tuesday I would go back to clear parties before getting my 11 book but same shit different week. Then one day I was farming fates for my ARR relics and saw a clear party with 3 open slots with the others showing the job icons. figured they were kicking underperformers, asked them if they care about chests (they didn't). We got the boss to 1% the first pull and killed him the third. There's no reason this fight should be as difficult to clear as it was and when I finally did I didn't even get a book from it.

P10 really is miserable. The fight itself isn't that bad but PF makes you hate it. Thankfully 11 is very fun in comparison, and even wiping for hours in it doesn't feel as bad as it did in 10.

Going on my 4th day trying to reclear p10s. I do barely any mistakes in dozens of pulls, but fucked up in all the best pulls. Please end my misery.

How I usually work is I prog a fight with static, our last night of the week is Thursday, so after Thursday night, during the weekend, I would try to prog or clear the fight we were trying to do with the static. So I can get loot [As a dps it helps for everyone], trying to see PF strats that could make it easier, maybe, for us. Last week I only wanted to try clearing p9s and it took me at least 12-15h in PF :') Clear parties unable to get pass Levin for hours and hours and HOURS. I never saw pass Levin and I would join clear parties and I was never the reason we wipe :') This week my Static was able to clear P9s, grats to everyone :D So this weekend I'll try to prog some p10s in PF. As a shot caller for a static I see it important to learn mechanic well and have practice :) I doubt I'll get a p10s clear, cause i've heard from you and other people I know that it feels impossible with PF cause they can't solve simple stuff 😅😅

Ngl, would definitely love to clear P12S (current prog point is P11S LotL) simply cause the orchestrion roll for the P2 boss of P12S is a banger. But I've taken a break from doing any current tier prog simply due to burn out from being in the World First Race and having the static I was in disband due to drama. With that being said, still want to clear the tier, but swapping to tank for it (was DNC before), as well as clear an ultimate, with my current targets being DSR or TEA as my first clear. My only issue with DSR atm is farming BiS from the latter Asphodelos tiers lol. Still wanna go pretty HC or Semi-HC for 7.0's first savage tier, so gathering myself up for that as well when that comes around.

I never made the clear for p10s sadly because People were to stupid sometimes or had other excuses. There were days I didn't feel to good and performed badly myself, but that I recognized and took the Fault for. I ended up giving up on Savage Raiding altogether this Expansion

I agree with you on P9 dualspell being a little spammy. Fun fact, there's actually SFX for an Earth and a Water dualspell in the game that are unused. Wonder if those could have been neat, maybe knockbacks and puddles kind of like dalriada.

fun detail: stack spread will always be the pug wall in majority of the fights. p3s was hard not particularly bcz of the mecha ic. it was hard bcz ppl can't stack or spread, same with p10s.

I missed week 1 and play on oceania, where getting a party for anything is difficult. Had to give up on doing the tier because after enough bad p9s parties that should have made it past lc1 I don't care to actually try clearing any of the fights on content. From what I've seen of 11 I'd really like to do that fight, but probably only once I've got enough gear from tomes to skip straight to it and not worry about people very desperate to get clears for gearing or on-content ego.

You should do another one of these once you finish the tier, I killed p12s in pf 2 days ago and am interested to hear your opinions and experiences with them in pf to see if we people had similar experiences to me

I really wanted to raid this tier, but I never managed to get into a static and Crystal PF was hell. I never saw past LC before giving up.

Just a correction, if you tank lb at the lc2 you are only really mitigating the stack damage since the defamation aoe gives you a magic vul and if you clip that with the stack you get 1shot no matter what, Maybe its better for the healer to lb if anything goes wrong

As a MT1, if DB3 is spreads into roles, I die on the inside.

P10S is an amazing fight. It's my favorite fight in the tier, and probably in the series. But it is absolutely miserable in PF. There's just so many chokepoints and body checks.

P6S and p7s really are bad. P8S was a bitch to prog but a great fight. P2s is one of my favorite fights. I love that sewer dog. It’s also a super interesting mechanical fight.

Your take on p10 is kind of... not great. "It's mainly just staking and spreading that kills people" while *technically* true isn't the full story. From my experience clearing 2 times on 2 characters each for a total of 4 times all in party finder. The thing that killed people the most was Bonds 3 and the Harrowing Hell heal/mit check. Bonds 3 is a particularly difficult mechanic for a couple of reasons: 1) Its the first mechanic that entirely revolves around being forced to pay attention to the party list timers (which is a brand new mechanic in the game **that you might have turned off**) to solve it. 2) The sequence of movement leading up to Bonds 3 is fairly quickly paced and it makes sense why people mess it up. 3) The actual Bonds resolving has a 50/50 chance of just being easier. If you have Roles into Solos the mechanic is just 10x easier because the roles that start near the half way split can just scatter towards the Bits that shoot the lasers. But if you have Solos into Roles that isn't really an option. 4) Particularly for the tank who has the Far North solo slot there is a LOT of precise movement during Bonds 3. You first have the silksplit into towers, which as I already mentioned is quite a bit of movement. Then you could potentially have solo into role which in most parties means you have to move more than halfway across the arena to get to your healers which is a ton of movement in a short period of time. Both are moments that you *want* to use sprint for but can only pick one. If you have a SCH this is obviously made way easier. Also if both healers are willing to just.. rescue your tanks this is made way easier. North melee also has a similar issue but most melee dps jobs have some sort of indapendant movement skill so its less of an issue (like Monks ability to just dash to any player within range). HH is also a fairly difficult mechanic for most parties. As you mentioned *everyone* needs to throw mit. Tanks, Melee, Phys Range, Casters, and of course Healers all need to pitch in. Most Melee/Range/Casters are used to being able to "accidentally" miss their mit and have the Healers/Tanks pick up the slack since this is possible in almost every single non-Ultimate fight. Not only do they have to actually use their mit but they have to chain with mit so that its spread out throughout the mechanic. This also happens during a 1 minute burst window (because SE loves doing big mechanics during windows for some reason) which can cause players to mis-time their mit and get someone killed, and if anyone dies during HH its almost always a guarantee wipe. To top it off Bonds happens immediately after this mechanic so you have to: 1) Pay attention to your mit timing 2) Probably use your personals 3) Pay attention to the party list to figure out bonds 4) Pay attention to your positioning so you get knocked back into the correct position for bonds That is a lot of things for a mechanic that hits like a truck running into another truck. Then ontop of ALL of that you have healers that just strait up refuse to do HH without Tank LB3. I mean they will jump off of the arena or just not throw any healing at all because they don't think its possible (it is). HH would honestly be a better mechanic if it came *after* a mechanic that forced you to use LB3 or before LB3 was obtainable for this reason. I personally consider Bonds 3 and HH perfectly acceptable places for players to wipe a few times. Also if your constantly wiping over and over and over to mechanics that are not either of those two you should leave the party, make your own, and invite everyone into a discord to do callouts. It will save you *hours* in PF.

Out of touch dev who never play in PF designed this p10s. 1 person miss = wipe most of the time. its pretty much just roll 8 dice hoping all of them rolled 6 time. It's too annoying for weekly fight. Too luck dependent (PF member). 40hours+ in 1 f in p10s, no clear. I want to see wipe&clear stat of this piece of garbage.
