The Egwene storyline was so good from the path of daggers through book book 12. A lot of the tower arc in book 12 was done by Jordan for Sanderson. I really don't think Brandon had any idea what to do with her after that was over. Kind of send like Sanderson might not have been much of an Egwene fan...

I don't know who runs JordenCon or any of them really there could be a thing that lets people know you have not finished the books. Eg. I go to ConVo and they used yellow sashes for people that do not want Hugs/touched

To be fair to Robert Jordan, the equation for the thickness of ice on a body of water by average temperature does show it's possible for the ice to be more than thick enough for one or more cars to be on the ice. When they did the math for the ice on the wheel weaves episode they only put in one situation and said "look it doesn't add up" instead of just solving for how cold the temperature would have had to be over how many days they had to get the required minimum. Also, they underestimated how many days they had and overeshot the number of inches minimum required. (I did the numbers before but at a minimum they had over double the number of days than what they had figured. And I believe they said they would have needed 8 inches more than thick enough for cars) It actually would have been pretty easy enough to be cold enough to freeze enough to drive machinery 2.5-4.5 times as heavy as horse on the ice. My credentials are I'm a math/stats guy and Canadian familiar with ice Edit: at maximum they had 18 days (from the bowl of the winds until the meeting on the ice). If the ice is 12 inches thick (according to at least three different ice thickness charts I just checked) it could support a heavy truck (8 ton gross) driving on the ice. It would only have had to get down to somewhere between 10-20° F over those days (even removing 5 assuming they were still too warm) and you would have enough ice.
