I love how the white cards he got kinda tell a story if you rearrange them. King had a secret mistress which lead to a secret heir. To keep the secret, the King put the son into the army and made it so everyone would get Pikeman training so he'd be safer. Then the bishops started to read from the red book, only to be overthrown by the pawns... Funny little coincidence here

You never realize how hard some of these games he plays are until you play them. I got a copy of this a while ago and it definitely is difficult enough that my usual play style for games tend to cause me to lose more often than not Also, within my first few games I unlocked the 4 blade required gun and have been constantly using it because "why not?" logic

The speed of an unit counts as how long it takes before it moves. The higher the amount, the slower the piece is.

By the way Tyler, hitboxes take up the entire tile the piece is on, so if the fire arc fits within the tile an enemy is on, every pellet will pass through that tile (assuming you don't have Saboteur doubling the arc of some bullets). The best example of this is that it is practically impossible to shoot an enemy diagonally from you if you have two enemies adjacent to you orthogonally.

You should do a run (probably on an easier difficulty) where you just pick the best synergies for white

as I recall, theocracy will only show up if white has at least three bishops already, so trimming the number of bishops down removed it from the pool.

If you want the secret ending you need to leave a bishop alive with the red book at the boss then there are 2 endings that come from it if you have a shotgun shell in the chamber you destroy the book when you kill the black bishop if you don’t have a shell in the chamber it gets passes to a white pawn and it’s the end

Taunting hop is actually quite a bit better than it seems at face value; since it counts as a move, and as such let’s you regenerate ammo or reload your gun.

When the black king gets taunting hop and blade: "So he did a back flip, snaped the white kings neck, and took over the kingdom."

Don't sleep on Taunting Hop. I did that too because it used to be unplayable, but you get an extra action whenever you use it, which is absurdly powerful actually.

Taunting hop can deal with kite shields easily. Sadly, the pawns having this much range makes it a dangerous idea. I guess not taking it wasn't really a bad choice.

The thing about Sacred Crown is, when you get it, and you use soul cards EVERY time you get one to get MORE soul cards, you practically have twic the amount of turns of white, and just one extra turn is already insane. Imagine an entire 100% extra, and that's not counting bushido. The white pieces are basically paralysed because to them, you're moving at 3 times the speed of normal humans and picking their people off before they can even react.

Blade build is so satisfying.

You didn't get Theocracy because you got rid of all the bishops; you have to have at least 2 for it to spawn. Also, you used the double-extra-turn several times but somehow didn't notice.

The casual disrespect for taunting hop here is brutal. I generally consider it to be the strongest card in the game. It allows you to move for free on most turns. Moving for free allows you to reload without spending a turn, gives you free ammo regen and allows you more options to flee check since you can move twice in 1 turn. It also allows you to move into check to kill things with blade which is handy.
