My granny showed me this 11 years ago. I was 10 years old. She died four years ago, and coming back to this song.. this video.. moves me not in a sad way. But a peaceful way. Like I'm sitting in the sunlight, but forever under a nice shaded tree. I'll never see her again, but I feel her when I hear these girls.

Infertility is a unique kind of grief. Listening to this because I’m going through it, and because I played it at my Grandfather’s funeral a few years ago with my own two sisters (yes, we nailed the harmonies). I guess it's because there is quite a numerous bunch of silly hypocritical hamsters like you who take salvation for granted, while the majority of the people in that church have more makeup on their faces than God would perhaps allow? Who knows, none of us have ever actually talked to him, or have we? Mayhaps God exists and he is of the opinion that anyone who would willingly spend money on anything other than an absolute necessity for survival, especially in a world where little children still DIE because of GREED, well, is not quite worthy of salvation, at least not prior, but perhaps rather after being accepted into the sanctuary of purgatory. We live in a modern age where your ''sacred'' book has almost no reach whatsoever, it has become an anachronism due to the PROVEN and both, VISUALLY and AUDIBLY, and even SENSUALLY, appreciable power of science, whether the effect is good or evil, therefore the certainty with which you compartmentalize people, labeling this and that one as an individual who ''ain't gonna be saved'', is kind of lame. You should have written ''even if you do not believe in God, or do not care one whit for salvation and are interested much more in, let's say, excessive salivation, you gotta feel something...'' Yet you just had to push it again, for you are the only ones worthy of salvation, yes, we do get it already, so shut the hell up and let us meet God after we have tried our best to follow his example, LOVE, without considering it vital to our salvation, or salivation, to talk about it all the time and even trying to impersonate him by allowing ourselves to take upon our shoulders the heavy cross of his almighty decision, the one only he has to bear. There have been millions of people who have not once mentioned anything of the kind yet their positive impact on the population as a whole exceeds that of yours by a margin so spacious that you, with all the might of your brain trapped within the obviously useless container the cranium, could never even conceive of... If you live within the boundaries of a civilised society, many a good man and woman, boy and girl, have most probably been chopped down in other areas just to maintain the machine that some have built and mostly all have to bow down to, I wonder what is God going to tell you about that. You better prepare for the question, for I am not even remotely religious, but by common observation I have come to the conclusion that He WILL ask each and every one of us that very question. ''Why is it, oh my dear old children, that just so that you can comfortably drive in cars and other vehicles of transport, you would WILLINGLY let a bunch of capitalists kill aboriginals of Ecuador, my sacred, still natural race of people, just to enrich themselves by selling the final product to you?'' What are we going to answer, I ask. Well, I have no idea, as of yet. All I am quite convinced of is that Hans and Sophie Scholl have already answered Him, and He must have been satisfied for sure, and they have been up against even a mightier foe, perhaps. The rest of us are all burning in the melting pot of fear, deception, desire and comfort, sacrificing the true freedom of God for the sake of oversimplified, overrated happiness perpetuated by the few that rule over the many. And yes, what I feel is gladness that this video exists and I like it, I guess I have never seen the innocence and amiability of children so powerfully and beautifully displayed before, although it is a bit of a sad truth that many try to substitute the cause of the effect for an unnatural one, while in my honest opinion, the cause is only as natural as natural can get...

I believe these sisters are oldest on the right: Sarah, beautiful alto lead; middle sister on the left: Hanna, soprano harmony (in my opinion, the star of the group); Leah, the youngest of the trio, performing in the center. A stunning collaboration of family and talent.
