What kind of control does Gunn have over the DC IP's when he can't just tell Matt Reeves, "Naw You're part of the greater Universe"? Can you imagine somebody telling Kevin Feige that they don't want their "art" to be part of the MCU? Feige is doing business with Sony For Gods Sake. DC fanboys prepare yourselves for more disappointment.

Warner Brothers will be about the immediate money to be made. I also feel that is why Gunn's batman stories are so far away from filming. They are waiting for the money made.

I was on set during the Miami Vice remake in 2005 at the Conrad. Got to meet Colin, and he was extremely personable & cool with everyone from the extras to food service he was a Legit stand-up dude.

I still can't get over Colin Ferrell is the Penguin. That make up artist deserves all of the awards. Great seeing Clancy Brown, its always a treat to see him on screen. I do find its interesting that so many of the shows theses days are featuring the "villains" as the protagonists. A large part of me really want to seen some good old fashioned heroes as the protagonists. (and yes, the Batman parts of the Flash were the best parts of the movie, not exactly how it's supposed to be)

It's just his eyes that give it away. His eyes just stick out from all the makeup and prosthetics. Not saying it's bad, he's fantastic and I agree with you, it's just the eyes I can see and recognize him.

Ben Affleck gave us a real action packed dark knight Batman, Robert gave us the detective side of Batman, Michael Keaton came back hard, and Bale batman was okay, they should of beef up the action

Clancy Brown is Rex "Lion," there is a small twist in the Batman Eternal story where it turns out that Rex was still alive but chose to stay in prison while Falcone took over. But once Falcone was out of the picture all hell broke loose.

I loved The Batman. I think it's my favorite Batman live action movie so far. With great respect to Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. I just really enjoy the tone, and pacing and the darkness of it, it just feels like Batman and how he should be, what I've wanted from DC for a long time.

Personally I would love to see a huge trilogy of Batman around the loss of Robin, with 2 and a half hour long movies like Dune is doing. The first movie would have Batman recruiting Robin and them basically running Gotham. The next movie would reveal many of the first movie's scenarios were set up by the Joker, and Robin is killed. The last movie would have Batman wrestling with violent urges for revenge. Ending with him making a choice one way or another to kill Joker or not. And that would leave people wanting more from that universe of movies.

I wasn’t too happy when I read that the sequel got pushed back a year but if that means that they’re working to refine it then that’s fine by me. Definitely excited about The Pengium spin off!
