Lucky residents having you clean up their alleyways. Such amazing ingenuity extricating that object from behind the wire ! Coat of paint on those fences and weeds removed is all that’s needed now 🚮🙏😊 What a lovely gesture tidying up the wreaths and flowers on the memorial and an Easter treat of bulbs for William. I used to litter pick around our village. I would show how much I collected on the village Facebook page. Then one or two residents started to complain that I was “ making a big deal about it” and “ we pick litter up and we don’t go bragging about it” . I don’t bother anymore. Good on you mate. Keep at it.

I was picking up rubbish yesterday and 3 lads in their 20s, thanked me for picking it up. I hate recycling bin day as they don't always pick up the rubbish they drop

What’s with all the coconuts you find? I can only recall finding one coconut in years of litter picking in Pennsylvania.

In the UK we put up half coconuts in the winter. They hang from a piece of attached string and are filled with fat or lard mixed with seed, so that the garden birds can have some energy food during the cold winter months. They are usually bought in shops so the old ones get discarded. They attract all sorts of birds to the garden like robins, wrens and tits. Great work as always Mr.Chilli.

My litter picker and sharps box on my back makes it clear I'm picking them up as opposed to using them, so I wouldn't worry. If I just had them on me with nothing else, they'd probably ask a few questions lol
