This video in particular is the reason why you have a new subscriber. On the one hand, it's great for all coin beginners (like me) and on the other hand, it's the calm narrative style. Even though my mother tongue is German and it's been a long time since I finished school, I understand every word. Lastly, I think the over the shoulder view is very helpful. Thanks Rick! ... and more beginner tutorials please, also with gimmick coins.

Thank you, I have wanted that Larry Jennings book for a while now. Now I have new inspiration to find it! Awesome change to the trick!

This reminds me of Roths S*p*r c*e*n coins a*r*s*. Maybe that's where he got the inspiration from. I wouldn't perform this over most coins across effects, but hey...it's a classic!

Another great tutorial Rick. I love that you have over the shoulder views during key moves. Please continue in that vein. I've had Bobo for decades and now I finally get to the see the actual classics streamlined and of course, done well.

Hi Rick Thank you for always posting great videos! And I have a question I want a Morgan dollar like you, where should I buy it?
@RickHolcombeАй бұрын
Thank you for watching! I have Morgan Dollar and Peace Dollars, I can't decide sometimes. The best place to buy is a coin shop if there is one near you. That way you can actually see the coins before you buy. Other than that, you can search for deals on eBay.

placing shell on top without your change seems akward in handling. Thanks for showing these classic coin manipulations, It really helps with some of the handlings I never fully understood reading Bobo's Book

Nice routine but just one concern. You commence with the "turtle" finger palmed. You show the 4 coins then toss the coins so they nest with the turtle. My concern is the chance you'll start running with damaging the delicate edges of the turtle.

It's not that fragile.

How do you get your coins to be so contrasting Rick? Like the raised edge looks polished, but the body looks darker, almost weathered.

Rick, are you using real silver coins s or faux coins that look like real ones?
@RickHolcombe6 ай бұрын
I only use real coins. You may be seeing the inside of my shell, which has a Capton lining. Capton is orange/yellow color. It's just an alternative to teflon.

Real talk, do you dull the ridges off the edge of your coins? If so, what's the advantage of doing that?
@RickHolcombe6 ай бұрын
I just buy already worn coins. It helps with certain routines to keep multiple coins palm without making noise
