Wrap your chicken breast tightly in a few layers of plastic foil and put it in a pan with water at around 60°C for about 30min and then take it out and sear it in a pan on high heat. If you have a sous vide you can use that ofcourse. But this is the best way to prevent dry chicken. No offense but the chicken in this video will still be "relatively" dry even if looks juicy with all the spicing. What I like to do is butterfly the chicken, fill it with some goats cheese and chopped pistachio nuts, salt & pepper and then wrap it up in plastic foil and boil at 60c. When you cut it in pieces you'll have that nice filling in the middle and a juicy chicken 😁
@thebigcheese1889 Жыл бұрын
I tried everything for nice juicy chicken and mastered it, all you have to do is cook on a high temp and leave it out the fridge for a while before cooking. Flatting it out also works great

Bro, i love you for this. You don't even know. Today, I had the best tasting chicken breast thnx to you. I starve a lot (long story), and my cooking skills are one-to-none. My lack of cooking skills means that I have to resort to boiling my chicken breast for an hour (to feel safe about killing all the bacteria), which turns out very bland even with added marinade. Although my meal was pretty small, the taste made it worth it. So thanks for this. Ps: I gotta ask to make sure. 5 minutes on each side should be enough, right? I did 5 min on each side as i believe you said. Thermometer went past 165, so 10 min is enough, right? Anyways thank yooouu. @@bobjamaica9045 well, i did look online, but some places say to cook chicken for an hour. And most talk about cooking the chicken in an oven. I rarely find any that cook them on a pan only. The ones i have found where they only cook it on a pan have comments about how 5 minutes isn't enough to cook chicken breast. So its confusing for me. I don't care too much about the taste. As long as im eating something that's not gonna get me sick, that's all I care about. Again, i starve a lot, so taste is the last thing on my mind.

Want to say that this recipe is the bomb. We made it today, same pan and omg, delicious. These are the spices I almost always use but I learned 3 things from this video. 1,) when you said if the color don't change, no flavor was gained. It's so true. For demo purposes I did one piece, the way I normally would've made it using way less seasoning. Made huge difference. 2) I've never used this pan for other than eggs. Pan searing- big difference and 3) my thermometer sits in drawer for baking bread purposes, I've never used it to measure meat since wings and breasts are the only meats I make and these meats are simple cooking. Had I not used the thermometer and stopped my searing at 165°, I definitely would have over cooked it. Never knew that going less was acceptable. Great food. Thanks. Oh, and I decided to mix it with something unhealthy, as I haven't had French fries in over 2 years and I don't eat fries from the streets so. I cut the potatoes in thicker shape. While I'm prepping the potatoes, I placed a pot to a scorching water, not too much water cause all I want to do is cook the inside of the fries lightly. I'm doing this process in order to get a good crunch from the end the result and to get all the flavors I've incorporated into the water. I seasoned the water with cayenne and salt cooking on high flames for about 5 minutes or longer. Then I placed them on a baking sheet into the oven at 375 to 400° for about 20 minutes. This all depends on your oven. What a combination 😍

If you cook your chicken to 165 that’s why it’s dry. It’s called carry over cooking. When you remove food from a heat source it doesn’t instantly stop cooking. 165 resting will be 175ish after a few minutes. For those of you reading… cook the internal temperature to 158ish. Wrap in foil and let rest. It will allow the hot moisture to redistribute through the tense muscle and finish the internal safe temp of 165. 165, lol. Food channel chef right here 🤣
@ManiMani-je7zl5 ай бұрын
You are right but you could also go a little lower CHCIKEN breast doesn't need to reach 165 f it is function of time and temperature if you leave it at 150 long enough it will be safe. Also butterfly the chicken breast and than pound. Use more spices. Herbs like sage and thyme are perfect for chicken as well as paprika. If you're not grilling make a pan sauce. Throw in some wine (white for a brighter flavor, red for a stronger complexes flavor) and something you wanna base you sauce around like herbs, meat juice,you can go crazy with only using spices(mostly works with red wine). I personally dont think that he did a great job.

Never add butter during cooking. It has a low burning point, and you’ll impart a bitter, scorched flavor. Rule: Only add butter AFTER taking the food off the heat.
