I’m pretty lightly in the hobby but picked up a Mob7 off your recommendation and absolutely LOVE it. It’s also near indestructible which is my favorite part!

Frame is so heavy and flies so bad.

My last drone was a DJI P2. The battery went after a few about a year. Been in storage ever since. Been looking for a new project to undertake for a fpv freestyle drone. This could not have come at a better time. Keeping an eye out for that full guide :) Thanks Stew!

I have a bunch of apex…because.. well a pilot I looked up to flies them, and well I just started buying them (and their clones). But having flown them for a while, id say my favorite feature is to not discontinue it after a year or two. I want to be able to continue to buy parts for it

FlyFishRC wins, and not because of a potential giveaway. Here’s just a few reasons FFRC takes the gold but there’s several more. 1. Thickened arms in the exact spot they’re usually the weakest. 2. Designated location for capacitor. 3. Designated lower channel to neatly hide the power cables. 4. XT60 integrated mount. 5. All the tpu you need included! 6. All screws/parts are individually bagged and a super simple easy tutorial to follow on KZfaq. 7. Higher end battery pad and battery straps included. 8. Super easy frame to tune! Low resonance! 9. Price! The ONLY downside to this frame is its definitely on the heavier side. I personally have combated that issue with 2000kv motors. I’m in love with all 4 of mine😎

Love my 6" Volador. Some say they are heavy, but with the right motors they are right in the sweet.

Bro, can you remake a video about the 3D-Perspective dual-camera-fpv (depth perception)? I watched your old video & it was amazing.

quadmula siren f5 split comes with tpu spacer for your motor bumper guards and your gopro's all frames should do this.

Aside from cheaper price, my favourite feature would be the ease of installation of components (space for digital vtx and capacitors on the install) and access to the flight stack on my favourite frame.
@LFTal8125 күн бұрын
Hi. I really want 3 things in a frame. Ease of access to the components for maintenance. Easy and quick arm changes. And availability of spare parts with the ability to buy any part for the drone easily and reliably

Hey thanks for dropping by the stream. You showed up as the peeps showed up and I didn't want them to feel uncomfortable with my streaming. But was actually wondering if I could get you to join me as a guest so you can chat with me about FPV for an hour or two :) let me know your time zone and when your free and let's do it!
@artifixprime26 күн бұрын
Crux35 for smaller builds. You can fit a surprising amount in the frame and it's *so* light that even with 1404 motors it's a hoot to fly. Downside though is that it won't take a hit, but hey - Build, Fly, Crash, Repeat :)

The only frame I love is the "Armattan Beaver" comes with racewire and everything you need. It's the one American made frame with a lifetime warranty so if you break any part of this frame they replace it for free. What other company do you know that replaced frames for free?!
@RPGWoodworking26 күн бұрын
Armattan Badger FTW! Not only does it have a lifetime guarantee, but when using an action camera, you can easily change your FPV camera angle AND your action camera angle at the same time and still have a matching view, and the FPV camera is very well protected. (Badger > Marmotte due to replaceable arms)
@MUNKYFPV26 күн бұрын
Yeah I’m a big fan of the Armattan Badger, I’ll admit the arms are not quite as durable as my Apex frames which are pretty bulletproof but there’s something special about flying the Badger, and my original caddx vista units mount perfectly in the back of the standard frame.
@Ender_FPV26 күн бұрын
In my experience the arms aren't held in place well and get loose, and Badgers/Marmottes fly pretty bad. Cages bend so your camera will aim weird and you're always flying a little bit off.. Much better to bash with something that'll stay solid and reliable. Changing the GoPro angle vs the FPV cam is silly with all those screws and causes more problems than it helps. Print a mount at the right angle or an adjustable one.
@MUNKYFPV25 күн бұрын
@@Ender_FPV Different strokes I guess. I think the most abuse my Badger has had is hitting some tree branches, I know it’s not as durable as my Apex frames so I wouldn’t fly it in a bando but I do like the way it cruises and feel like the FPV camera has lots of protection without any part of the frame in view.

Cloned Apex (HSKRC) from AliExpress. I love the simplicity of the frame. For me, the Volador is too complicated. I do not mind building it, but some parts, are just too much. Ex: the long bottom plate with the 3d printed thng between. I also like about the clone Apex, that is was really cheap (25$ with 2 seperate arms) and flies pretty darn well. For the price, unbeatable. I do mostly freestyle near buildings (and bandos), so for that, I like if my quad flies well. Bit for "hardcore bandos" I prefer the Kayoudur.

This frame basicly an apex with a different sauce over it.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, the best kwad is also in the hands of the operator What might be good for one is crap to another To many people depend on others to tell them, and then afterwards realize it was not as "good" as they were told. does not mean it was not good, it just means it was NOT good for that person
@matteocatellani26 күн бұрын
Supafly flip mode for me is the best, robust and lightweight, the downside is that is tight so building is a pain in ** 😂

My best frame is surely not a Chinese one. Sorry.
@LarsEchterhoff23 күн бұрын
Because everything chinese sucks?
@zerpofpv23 күн бұрын
@@LarsEchterhoff No, there are some good things, but it's often overwhelming for non-Chinese brands. They can't fight when they buy their frames the price the Chinese sell theirs for. This is just an opinion, but Fpv influencers are constantly promoting the latest Chinese bnf. You end up thinking that's all there is.
@LarsEchterhoff23 күн бұрын
@@zerpofpv But that's a whole other statement than you made with that first tag line. My question was as provocative as your statement. Glad you made it back to your comment and stated your valid point. I do agree, even if I think the volador is a quite thought out mid-prize product. There is way more crap out there. And yes, those chinese manufacturer seemingly pay very good to push into "our influencer/sales men". My pov is, that part of the hobby is to figure out, which saddle, sorry, frame fits best. Part of my enjoyment is thinkering with the electronics and transfer them into different bodys. Because those frames will eventually break or degrade and should carry those precious electronics the best way they can. But that is just me. There might also be the guy who can barely afford his quad and wants to get the max out of his money. I think most of the influencers cater to those type of people not doing the hobby a favor with there money-driven biased advices. Is it true for this video? Not sure. The guy is doing it best to avoid such a behavior. Is he thrust worthy? Not sure. Reach out to fellow pilot and get your hands on their builds an experience. Because each and almost every of us is glad to get asked about their decisions. Guaranteed!
