Very nice Zac, I'm actually kind of jealous. I've been wanting to do a piano black interior in my XT but at the same time I want to get rid of the hideous green backlight, which means buying a new cluster and ICC even before I consider painting which will cost an arm and a leg

The easy way to do it , is just get rid the silver paint with 2000 grit and you will see black plastic underneath and use meguiars compound to get mirror black shine on plastic

Hey Zac, on ignition start up, your instrument cluster goes through a sort of full needle swing, then displays your current boost program your running. Just curious as to what system your using to get that? I've never seen that before, usually its an external unit like the eboost or gfb boost controller. Cheers

Gloss black is a prick to keep clean cause it scratches when you wipe it with a cloth. And I’m disappointed that someone has redeemed the Mac as monopoly tag 😂😂

Ovais Rehman go the G6ET all the way, won’t have to bother spray painting your interior as it already looks awesome from factory. Plus you get all the other extras too. (Disclaimer: my opinion may be influenced by me currently having my fg mk2 G6ET up for sale lol).

Ovais Rehman yeah I love it, have mine as a daily using it for work, never really had an issue. while the falcons have their downsides the engine is just fantastic, I’ve owned a few fast cars before and while they don’t sound like a bent 8 they are super quick for what they are. Only thing I would look out for is worn rear bushes, if you aren’t mechanically inclined and do them yourself they can be expensive as it’s labour intensive to change them.

I have driven both but have an Fgx G6ET although it does not have an lsd diff where an Fgx XR6T does.Suspension is softer on G6ET so its more floaty through the corners,the oem tyres on G6ET the Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres are terrible,breaks traction easily,XR6T has same oem tyres.G6ET leather seats are more comfortable than XR6T leather seats and as mentioned earlier you get the darker trim around the icc,dash and door trim on the G6ET.Factory 270kw is identical for both.G6ET is my preference even though it has a few shortfalls.I gather the Fg series would be similar.

I was actually going to spray my icc surround the other day, but I could get all the buttons out except for the three in the middle, two for the air conditioning and the one that just says ICC. How'd you get yours out?
