Here's some interesting stuff about the Tsar Bomba upgrade: a) It's the only upgrade in BTD6 to have a real life counterpart (that being the largest nuclear bomb set off) b) Because of the real life counterpart, we can calculate the energy it takes to get 1 pop. c) Here's the calculation: The real bomb released an estimated amount of 210-240 Petajoules; we'll go with 210 to be conservative. The ingame ability can deal up to 3,000 damage to 5,000 bloons, which means that when all energy is absorbed (pierce capped and max damage), it releases 15,000,000 damage. This means that 210,000,000,000,000,000 joules is approximately 15,000,000 damage, at a staggering 14,000,000,000 joules per damage. Moral of point c, don't underestimate a 0-0-0 dart monkey; it regularly throws a dart with the energy of about 2 lighting strikes. d) From the looks of it, the Tsar Bomba plane appears to match in design to the Tu-95V bomber, the plane that dropped the real Tsar Bomba. Assuming that the cost of the ingame upgrade in medium mode prices is only the price of the plane itself and not its ammunition or fuel, then we can take the price of building a real Tu-95V bomber and assume that they are equal in cost e) Here's the calculation for that: From what I can find, a Tu-95V bomber costed approximately 26.28 million USD. The ingame medium mode price for the upgrade is 30,000 ingame currency, leaving us with a roughly 876 USD per ingame unit. Moral of point e, you can buy the sun god for about 438,000,000 USD in real life. Have fun with that.

Isab, would having the bloons move the same direction the ace is flying increase the single target DPS? Then the ace would be over everything for a longer period of time. Then again, flying against each other it would fly over the bloon more often. Something to test if you want.

Crosspathing Alchemist to 420 makes the buff apply to a single tower more frequently, and lasts for more shots (unless this was ever changed, haven't played since a couple updates).

Should the plane be going the other way the same direction of the bloons?

I wonder if Ace micro would have done it there. If you switched the Ace to reverse, a good portion of the bombs would fall with the BAD's movement instead of against it, and thus dealing more damage. Whenever the Ace would pass the BAD, you reverse it again.

@ISAB why make the path go counter-clockwise? Doesn't the plane go clock-wise? So shouldn't the path be goint clock-wise to maximize the amount of damage? Also the faster the ballon moves opposite of the plane the less leeway you get to hit bombs.

I could 100% be wrong but I think you can use unfinished tracks (without an exit) and I think no bloons will go there and maybe the bomber sees it as track? That is if you can even play a map with an unfinished track like that.

if the ace moves with the flow of the balloons and not against them, it will have more coverage on it for single target dps.
