Here’s a short trip off the beaten path to an area near Clarksburg, West Virginia from a long time ago.
We discuss the possibility of an allegid machine-made marbles operation from the mid 1930’s called Flo-Blue. There isn’t much hard evidence here, but it’s worth taking a look at for a few minutes in the hopes of finding out more.
With marbles research we are finding out new things all of the time, you never know!
I hope you find this content intriguing…or at least mildly entertaining!
If you have any possible information about the Flo-Blue marbles factory , or any obscure West Virginia Swirls documentation : please email David‪@davidtamulevich8587‬.com 🔴 or post In the comments below .
We will post a follow up video If anything new comes to light.
Thank you for watching! there’s more content to come.
Special thanks to David Tamulavich and Pete Mc Millen.
Happy Marbling !

Yes John ✅ I have some 1980’s Champions that match right up to this group , including one that was bagged & labeled “Flo Blue” which was originally sold by Charlie Stutsman.

@@stephenbahrmarbles I will keep my eye out, just looked at a calendar of events for national marble shows, looks like i missed the one close to me this year, but i bet it will return to that area next year. where i am in the western states gives me great access to semi precious stone and rockhounding, which drives my interest to stone made marbles like the agate my grandfather had made for me as a child when i played. still studying the lapidary tools needed.

This video is a parable for us all---in another 75 years, we'll all be phantoms nobody will believe ever existed! I live in Ohio and have only recently found out about what a hotbed of marbles making the Ohio River Valley as well as Akron were! I want to go on one of those digs like the one where the man filled a 5-gallon bucket with shovelfuls of vintage marbles. How do you sign on for something like that?
@stephenbahrmarbles
@stephenbahrmarbles 2 жыл бұрын
Well said Star Dust ! 🌟 The title of this video has a question mark for a good reason. Were learning things bit by bit. Maybe something will come from this topic, maybe not . Who knows? For digs I suppose you have to be in the right place at the right time and know the right people. They had one up in Akron a few years back when the American Marble and Toy Company property was escavated . What property will be dug next ? I have no idea….

Pete bought them....pulled them out of the storage building ( called The Pit) at Champion Agate. Someone there at Champion told his the story..which he relayed to me. Pete was very sincere, so I think he was being straight with me.

I'm on board! Let's look elsewhere to support the premise....automobile manufacturers! There are widely varying numbers, but between several hundred to several thousand have been put as numbers! So why not all sorts of fortune hunters trying marble making out?

Hello everyone, I am new to the site & a big time marble enthusiast & collector. Has anyone went digging at this site and if so have they had any luck finding any marbles? Where exactly is this old factory site, does anyone have the exact address? Would love to visit and do some digging there. Is that allowed?

Hi Lori, Im sorry but haven’t gotten any further leads on the allegid company or location. Please ask permission when planning on digging, I have gotten a few complaints from marble property owners about people digging on thier sites. All of these sites are privately owned. Good luck ! 🔵
