The Phone Call That Changed Liverpool
It is often said that your life could completely change in a blink of an eye. Just one meeting, one conversation, one phone call, and everything you know about your life could take a complete turn.
And the exact same can be said about the life of football teams. A football club could be dying and slowly slipping into obscurity and just one phone call would completely turn its fortunes around. And we know this for a fact because we have seen it happen before.

I've been supporting LFC since the late '80s. I'm 44 y.o. now I've been bullied a lot, especially after the Gerrard slip vs Chelsea, and even worse after the Kyiv CL final. Still no regrets for me I'm sure Liverpool will be on top again. . . Big club with long glorious history? We have a lot of them A big club whose story is like a fairy-tale? Only LIVERPOOL

Nothing against Graeme Souness, Roy Evans, Gerard Houllier, Rafael Benitez, Kenny Dalglish and Brendan Rogers it’s more like the best thing we have done in nearly 30 years since the establishment of EPL. Note that I left 1 particular name out of the list above though.

Manchester United and Chelsea are amongst those currently experiencing the other side of a revitalised Liverpool. Chelsea fans are amongst those who know a real good side when they see it. Guys like Salah and Van Dijk are amongst the new generation of Liverpool legends.

Liverpool fan 1979 until now, EXCEPT for when the announcement was made to leave Anfield, I walked away in that period. Liverpool would be nothing without Anfield.

I was born in 1989, I first understood football when I was about 5/6 years old, growing up as a Liverpool supporter had its highs and lows, especially with a family of United supporters from St Helens in Merseyside, it was torture seeing them win everything, but now I’m just laughing at them because we’ve overtaken them by a country mile, in terms of recent success and title challenges, massively proud to be a Liverpool supporter especially after the fear of what might have been in 2010 before FSG took over, the football Gods are on our side!!

As an 68 model I really feared that we never would win the premiership, the ship that allways sailed away. Felt so lucky in my first 15/16 years as supporter that a couple of years in the early 90s whithout a title wouldnt matter... And the Years passed on...

It cannot be underestimated just how big Klopps impact has been on Liverpool. Without him we'd be also rans, as we were for 20+ years prior to his arrival.

football is the most passionate and beautyfull sport! We have GENERATIONS of supporter, my family has been supporting my boyhood club since 1899. since they started. thats longer than 100 years! and we ACTUALLY HAVE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS where THE WORLD COMPETES not only America and Canada XD

It was actually John W Henry's wife Linda who owns the Boston Globe newspaper who wanted to purchase Liverpool and her husband knew Hicks to talk to. JWH spoke to Tom Hicks informally and they more or less agreed the sale of LFC.

Nope pep lijnders will take over from klopp before SG comes in klopp is leaving in 2024 and SG won’t be ready to take over that soon and has said he won’t accept the Liverpool job until he knows he’ll be a success
