Don’t judge the ancient people with our modern lens because it’s our world and world view that has been corrupted into a mundane materialist reductionist mindset. Those Moors and Arabs often had red beards and blue eyes. Much like the red haired and 6ft tall mummies of ancient China, we have been lied to about our quite recent past! Remember those concoctions of earwax or whatever are still carrying the resonant frequency and actual material genetic code of the being they came from and is the basis of much of modern black or left hand path Magick. Everything is energetic and frequency based and just like we can scientifically clone a person from DNA strands we can also use the frequency of such physical sample to attune into a person at that basic gene code level…for whatever purpose! That’s why magic practitioners of old were very careful to not idly discard hair and nail clippings etc. Because they can be used in magical practices for good or bad purpose in the same way that someone getting access to your computer password can cause some mayhem for you.

I’m not surprised at all - The Islamic tradition knows quite a bit about the Djinn. I had a personal experience with one myself over a decade ago (which is still a powerful memory) and so I don’t write these things off anymore as sleep paralysis nightmares like the modern mundane world tells us.

It’s the usage that makes it Satanic. Much like nuclear power. Knowledge (literally Sin) is not dark in itself but the intentions of the user make it so. Of course much of the occult knowledge freely available out there at the moment IS designed to lead people down a shallow and selfish ‘service to self’ pathway that leads to spiritual corruption and the enslavement of our soul essence. Thus it’s often the intent of much magick to addict us to power and it’s abuse of ourselves and other sovereign souls.
